As a Capricornian myself, Aquariusism goes against accepted values for the sake of being different.

I'm a gemini

For too long, we Aquarians have hidden in the shadows out of fear and persecution.  NO MORE!  Now is our time and we shall rise up and strike back against those who would persecute us.  We shall trample all other signs into the mud and rule unopposed!

WATER BEARERS OF THEDAS, UNITE!

Wait, wait? Did you really take a short cut over an "obstacle" in the middle of the aisle?

No, not over, but my cart scraped the edge of an end cap.  It was either that or scrape one of the people, and that would have justifiably ticked them off, so couldn't have that.

ETA:  ToP!  Staches:  "Tee hee, I just farted."

Don't mind the clapping noise, but I can't hold myself at the awesomeness of that.

*Leaves her glass of ryncol aside to write a quick response and rushes to the aviary*

Spoiler

Glad you enjoyed it  :D It's one of the best pieces of DLC I've ever played, and in some aspects how I wished the main game had been.

Sweet Maker Dienne, I've just googled Ryncol because I wasn't sure what it was and just thought it was some kind of pain killer.  Now I know it's the Mass Effect equivalent of Poiteen (Irish) or Moonshine (American?).  It's deadly.  Thank you, you are so thoughtful  :D  I loved the DLC and my thoughts as Lavellan will go in the group in case I spoil it.  I hope it's not a spoiler to say Solas looked extremely shaggable but there is more to it than that.

A report from Agent Serza to Sister Nightingale follows:

Bacon butties all round!  Pass the HP sauce!

*Beren returns from an (intended) quick trip to Wal-Mart with a request*

Greetings and salutations.  IF you are going to go shopping at Wally World, and for some unfathomable reason you feel like this is some sort of communal experience that you need to share with your friends, please:

  • Do not walk three abreast down the main aisles of the store
  • If you insist on doing so, please do not do so at a pace that would make molasses laugh at you
  • If you insist on doing THAT, please do not glare at me as I jump on the median as it were to squeeze by the triple-trailer wide load.  The glare really tests the limits of my social graces.

Sincerely,

Beren

Lustre, you made it!!  *hug diggery dooo*

ETA:  *sniff*  Nug bacon!  *Beren sidles over to Miss T*  He-ey buuuuudy :)

Hugs back man - it was all your fault!  I loved nightmare but subsequent playthroughs will now be for story I have missed and not the lengthy battles I love.  Except the Guardian, didn't enjoy that - it felt disjointed somehow.

I have a lot to think about and a lot to catch up on, so later DQuosians.  I did miss you lot though, but it had to be done.

When you drink Ryncol, you supposedly start off radioactivity alarms.

Or so the Turian bartender in that club on the Citadel in ME2 claims.

Dienne answered for me. yup, I've successfully recreated Kyrrah almost perfectly (only changes were intentional) via slider screenshots multiple times.

Ah.  Anyways just understanding my nervousness. :P

What the f*ck...? I get the Master Chief Collection, and it wants to sell me ODST as DLC...

F*ck you! I don't want to play that sh*t anyway.

It's a lie. No Maker in my dreams.

I... did see this wolf, though. Black, looked really threatening?

Exactly. Sheml*e*n by the way. Aren't you one yourself...? :P

Look at me, only five hours too late! I blame the Fade!

*nitpick a**hole mode activated*

It's a Greatsword if it's two-handed. Longsword if it's one-handed. Then you have the smallswords'n'sh*t...

Much easier to understand modern weaponry, to be honest.

(And yes, I'd nitpick just as much if you called an AT4 a "Bazooka")

*nitpick a**hole mode deactivated*

Yup, a Quickling.

We got one of those here. Best to stay away from the Baldur's Gate and Neverwinter Nights forum. ;) I have 20+ years of Dungeons and Dragons warping my mind.

We have a couple of weapon experts at the writers forum I participate at. I made the mistake of describing my character having a magical longsword. Longsword? What you mean by longsword? One of them went on about the accuracies of proper sword descriptions. Which is fine, I want my fiction surrounded by factual accuracies.

Hehehe. Did I make a lot of mistakes?

Well. Modern weapons are easier to understand, classification-wise. To me, at least.

Still, I think "Longsword" would be a fine descriptor for a wide family of weapons. Kind of like "Rifle" perhaps.

Its a pet peeve of mine admittedly because I watched a vid on it and most people, I believe anyways, labor under the assumption that most DEWies in Sci Fi operate along the lines of lasers, and are lasers with fancy names.  When really most of them, Trek, B5, various weapons in SWs, and ME all operate more on the particle beam concept.

I know, right? They're not DEW's (Directed Energy Weapons/Lasers). They just accelerate molten tungsten at relativistic velocities. Kind of like any other Mass Accelerator weapon.

You know on that account I have heard a lot of people refer to MA weapons in any form as DEWies in the first place, including Particle Beams and Rail Guns, I think the latter might be stretching the definition a bit but it does still use energy to get its job done...though by that same token a modern firearm is a DEWie too. :P
