I know, right? They're not DEW's (Directed Energy Weapons/Lasers). They just accelerate molten tungsten at relativistic velocities. Kind of like any other Mass Accelerator weapon.

"I woke up sore."

Does that mean what I think it does?

*dirty-minded giggle*

Mind, meet Gutter!

Yes. Trying to keep it PG.

You know on that account I have heard a lot of people refer to MA weapons in any form as DEWies in the first place, including Particle Beams and Rail Guns, I think the latter might be stretching the definition a bit but it does still use energy to get its job done...though by that same token a modern firearm is a DEWie too. :P

Naaaw, a DEW is a weapon where the projectile is directed energy. A laser beam, for example...

I think the Particle Rifle might be a DEW, but... I don't really understand how that works.

A MA weapon is essentially what we think of as a Rail Gun, except it uses Eezo to propel the rounds instead of magnetic energy. Or so would logic claim, considering how much explanation we have.

Which makes them quite deadly given the physics warping properties of Eezo.

Hehehe. My mind and gutter are so awesome buddies by now...

Sore... :D

Still doesn't explain stuff, though, because... How long did it take for them to get to Skyhold? I mean, if Skyhold wasn't the last, like, three, four months, that'd make fighting a bit... hard. I mean, I'm not a woman, but... It can't be easy to fight while carrying a baby.

Psheh, that little bosh'tet can kiss my airlock. *Hugs Garrus*

Your... airlock...?

Pssssshhh! Hehehe!

Ooooh maaaaaan...

My mind needs to get out of the gutter. I'm sure I understand that... wait, I likely understand that correctly.

Well, I imagine the effect on target isn't so much different from a modern day firearm, but the armor and material penetration ability? OFF. THE. CHARTS.

Effectively, I think shields are the only thing that can stop such a bad boy.

Kinetic...barriers?  Which gives its own connotations for ME.  Remember 'Shields' only work against projectile weapons in MEs universe.

Whazzat? What's going on? *scrambles up from the floor*

Mmmm brownie coma.

Has anyone actually used the sliders and weird positioning system to succesfully recreate their Inquisitors yet?

Yes.

Ashaantha has done that with Kirrah and the multiple Kyrrahs many times, also has Lynroy with Staches and Brayan (and PC Staches).

Can confirm. Staches 2.0 successfully recreated on PC.

For too long, we Aquarians have hidden in the shadows out of fear and persecution.  NO MORE!  Now is our time and we shall rise up and strike back against those who would persecute us.  We shall trample all other signs into the mud and rule unopposed!

WATER BEARERS OF THEDAS, UNITE!

No, not over, but my cart scraped the edge of an end cap.  It was either that or scrape one of the people, and that would have justifiably ticked them off, so couldn't have that.

ETA:  ToP!  Staches:  "Tee hee, I just farted."

Sweet Maker Dienne, I've just googled Ryncol because I wasn't sure what it was and just thought it was some kind of pain killer.  Now I know it's the Mass Effect equivalent of Poiteen (Irish) or Moonshine (American?).  It's deadly.  Thank you, you are so thoughtful  :D  I loved the DLC and my thoughts as Lavellan will go in the group in case I spoil it.  I hope it's not a spoiler to say Solas looked extremely shaggable but there is more to it than that.

Damn right he did! I mean dayum.

Mmmhmmm *nods in approval*

Well, yeah. There's Kinetic Barriers (commonly Shields) and Biotic Barriers (commonly Barriers). Kinetics are built into suits, and are a piece of tech. Biotics are maintained by the user.

Also, I consider ME1 the most lore-friendly in the trilogy, seemingly preferring the lore remaining intact than gameplay mechanics.

In ME2 and 3, Shields/Barriers protect againist EVERYTHING. Even Thresher Maw spit.

Hell, I think Kinetic/Biotic Barriers actually CAN'T stop anything that's travelling SLOWER THAN X. Meaning bullets and shrapnel are the only thing it can stop!

Bargain!  Getting an extra £1000 over this year from a bursary and scholarship, that I knew nothing about. I think I'll stick that in a savings account or something. The start of my travel the world fund.

I haven't made it far with Staches 2.0, but I do have this comparison shot. Graphics are not as good on PC due to my laptop limitations.

Tel Garas Solasan, they said.

It is a bad place, they said.

So I went there.

So I did everything I could there.

So I collected all the Shards.

So I defeated the Place of Pride.

Solasan lays plagued no more.

TWICE. Anyone who tells me Shards are an annoyance is a sissy!
