Considering that 5 people have pulled out injured, I got it last week whereas the other guy got it on Saturday, I'd be more surprised if I make it lol.

No worrying me like that!

No Trespassering? :P I have plans to play it through with all 8 of my inquisitors!

I did that with my one, singular and only Inquisitor already!  And a great time was had.  So much lovely Sera stuff was going on!

A fantastic end to (this chapter of) the story.

That moment when you start begging a Stuka in War Thunder to turn and let you kill him because you need one more kill to get some Gold... and he listens!

I tend to be a one-PT kind of person, it seems.  Especially when there's other games I've yet to finish.

I don't know how someone can do that... Don't you get tired of knowing how everything is going to play out?

But I don't. They all make different choices and have different dialogues. Part of the biggest difference is that I've made an inquisitor for each romance.

I tend to be content with the version of events I get, I think.

Da:I is worth another run because of the Templar/mage arc, different romances as Dazzle stated (though I find it hard to deviate from one) and to try out different classes, etc. I would say it's worth it even for Trespasser where you see even more of your choices making a difference.

For now though.. I can't resist the temptation of Witchering!

it's not that I'm not content. I just want to make as many possible versions of the story with as many various mindsets as I can.

I think it's mainly because I don't self-insert.

While I know I will never reach the heights of Rivaini / Donk referrals, I have endeavored over the last couple of days to boost  your sales to the best of my ability. :D

Has the new canticle been written yet?

This isn't fair. As I generate sales for the penis kit, I should get at least half of the shares..

I kind of do the same thing. Most of my Inquisitors are made to role play. I have played as pro-mage/anti-mage and jerk Inky, etc...

I do have some self insert characters that choose things that I would choose. I like to have one character that I sort of identify with. I don't really know why, but I just like not having to think about how I am going to role play my character and just go with what I want to do. I also like to make Inquisitors to do different romances.

I mostly self insert but the two playthroughs I plan in the future are not.

Arsehole Qunari for instance is a religious nutjob. Previously a tal vashoth mercenary, he quickly becomes a believer when he gets the mark on his hand. But he is violent and ruthless.. Save for Dorian, whom he is falling in love with and even spared Alexius for..

My elf is going to be a typical elfy elf with a curiosity about the fade and magic. She will bond with and eventually fall for Solas. She is open minded, serious and kind.

I self-insert personality, not much else and still make different choices every run. DAI has that going well, you can't make people hate you (npc's I mean) for choosing one thing or another, and most choices are 50/50 this or that decisions so no real wrong one since you succeed no matter what, and in the end it changes next to nothing. Makes it extremely easy.

Killed Cory-Pory on 16 different Inquisitors now but still only finished 4 of the romances. 4 never touched *sighs*

I find you have to use a lot of "head canon".

for actually getting choices to make the game different?

I like detailed descriptive stuff more then my 2 sentences there haha, I could go on for hours about ins and outs on a Lore, Inquisitor personality, head-canon and logic (and lack of) stand point for each tiny decision my Inquisitor makes... but I won't, that just bores people who aren't me

I think part of my issue with self-inserts is that I would never work in that universe or role. We all know I'd be dead in 10 minutes.

Then, if I did create a Kyra in the CC, a dwarf who looked as close as possible to me, and made similar choices, I'd still be thinking that she wasn't me because she'd grown up in entirely different circumstances and a completely alien society.

It's so much more natural to jump into the mind of one of my characters than attempt to play "Kyra in Thedas". (Not saying that anyone here does, just trying to explain my thought process.)

Self insert doesn't always mean you see the entire character as yourself, or play that way. One can just partly self insert, like me, where they just can't take crueler dialogue choices for example. I cannot do them at all because it goes against the very base of myself in real life. Even if they're done in a video game that should have zero affect on my life, it actually does affect it. That's how much some dialogue is too much for me to go with so yeah, self insert is solely that part of my personality. There's no way I would survive 2 minutes in a world like Thedas lol.

I have only completed 2 romances so far (Sera and Cass), but I am working on completing Bull's and Dorian's. I am thinking about doing the other ones but I haven't made up my mind yet. I have too many characters on the go right now.

that I can definitely understand. I mean, I can take the darker options, but I understand why other people can't.

Yeah, I have that problem. I want to finish the last 4, just to experience them myself - Josephine, Cassandra, Dorian, Sera. But..

1. I have trouble playing male characters, I have a new Dante who finally got to starting either mages or templars now, furthest I've ever gotten a guy.

2. would mean playing 3 male characters, as I personally would prefer Josphine to be with a guy in my playthrough.

3. Still having trouble continuing Sera's romance, not from being squeamish, just so much happening right now to get into it.

I love
Bull and Dorian's romances! Cullen's is also very sweet, and oh my god Solas'... and so far Sera's is adorable.
