Even though I was one of the other girls. Like 'If I'll ever be able to romance Cullen, I hunt him down.' Which I did. And until the post credit it worked fine. Even though I had my human moments before that, where I asked myself why I cannot romance the nice elven man.

It's complicated (not really) started on PS3, upgraded to PS4 partway through and restarted.  Then restarted (again) so I could sync with DA Keep.  I need to finish my canon playthrough first because I'm anal like that.  Cullen will be my canon romance I think, but I am looking forward to Solas romance.

 

He doesn't have much content and most people find the Cullen romance more satisfying but I've always been meh about Cullen.

I thought Volus' did it in their suits like astronauts.  Apparently not .....    

I think a lot of people like a 'happy' ending but after Cullen's line at the end ..... hmmmm, we'll see.  I get the feeling from the epilogue that the Solasmance will make for a better story in DLC if that's what we get because I believe he'll be very conflicted if he romanced the quizzy.

Patrick Weekes did a very good job with what little content there is. I mean there's only a bit of dialogue added to the scenes you get when your Inquisitor is friends with him.

I do envy the character creation for the PC though, and the graphics for PS3 were truly the worst.  I loved Alistair, I loved Anders because it was agony but I couldn't get into Fenris.

That pretty much sums up why I was annoyed with Anders in DAA. All his 'jokes' just made me roll my eyes. Fenris was just broody "I HATE MAGES KILL KILL KILL" *yawn*. Yeah and insulting my (I always played dude rogue Hawke) sister was not acceptable. I'd be lying if I said I don't understand the allure of either character for people.

Sometimes I don't know why I like or dislike a character even though I try to analyse it  I felt I should have like Fenris but I never could even though I sympathized with what he had been through.   I did romance him in a playthrough but when he left the morning after I was like meh, good riddance.  I did like Anders or maybe the romance arc because I pursued him even though he warned me all the way through I didn't listen.  So I kind of knew it was going to go bad and ...well ... boom, but I enjoyed the spiral downwards for some reason.  With Solas, I liked his character and became his friend so when all was revealed I was

 

 

I wonder how I'll feel when I romance him.
