What? I spent two years with a realism unit in ArmA 2 that was called "102nd Recon Battalion." RECON?

 

Gathering intel is literally WHAT THEY TAUGHT ME. Especially if I aspired for the Scout-Sniper role.

 

Then some Infantry jerk "forgot" to relay information to his commanding officer, and I was somehow at fault. They forbid me to play as Scout-Sniper.

 

I've left the unit a few months later because they decided it would be a good idea to edit one of the missions I made without a) telling me prior consent c) general unhappiness (they seemed to not quite like me towards the end)

Note: Not a real firearm. It's actually a replica chambered in 6mm BB. Meaning small plastic balls. Wear some eye protection, you should not come to a more serious injury being shot by one.

Yup. It's an HK416 replica. Do want, I love the way 416's look. Much more than M4s or anything. It seems like I can even swap out barrel length! (I doubt it will actually influence the ammunition, however.) D10 or D14.5! Yay! Now give me a sound suppressor adapter and I'm a happy camper. Thing already has RIS rails all over.
