I used to play AFL, back when I was 10-12 years old since I was a girl and clubs didn't allow girls to play after the age of 12 at that point in time. Now there are girls/women only teams in most larger towns.
Always been a Collingwood Magpies supporter though. They did crap this year.. lol
I just love Magpies (the bird). Sports team, DAI character (Kyrrah - aust aboriginal name for magpie), a few plushies, lots of photography of them, and books.

The first four or five Superbowls were actually played when the NFL and AFL were completely different leagues. They merged, and the AFL became the AFC, American Football Conference, within the NFL.

Because canes are awesome. Especially sword canes. Also adds to the whole disguise and bubble pipe.
Hey Royness, are you getting this lovely cool weather that I'm experiencing? IT was overly hot until recently, when it finally broke. At last, nights are down into the mid-40s (that's around 7-8 C for you uncouth metric barbarians) and the days are, at least for now, only getting up into the mid 60s. I've left my windows open a little the last couple of nights, and awoken to a house hovering around 65 (18C) degrees. It's glorious. Went out this morning in boxers and a t-shirt to have a cigarette in the pre-sun dawn (hence neighbors not being able to see me) savoring the 45 degree chill. My pets probably don't like it, but screw 'em, they have fur.

It's been cool here since mid-September. We've had a rotating low parked close by bringing in moisture from the Atlantic. It's been raining and keeping the temperatures down.

For what I've seen it's the hardest weapon to start with but my love for whips wouldn't allow otherwise
