She did. It's one of the tales Felassan tells Briala. Fen'Harel had made Andruil angry by hunting Halla without her permission. She captured him and tied him to a try and then declared that he would have to serve for a year and a day in her bed to pay her back.

 

It's possible that that isn't true. The stories the Elves tell are far from the truth, and those are the big ones. The ones the Elves base their entire belief and history on. A story about one God making another her sex slave... I think something might have gotten lost in translation there.

Well it is Andruil we are talking about.  You know I do not believe in the theory that Sera is Andruil but once I learned of the latter's void madness I can't help but imagine her acting like the former.

Well it is Andruil we are talking about.  You know I do not believe in the theory that Sera is Andruil but once I learned of the latter's void madness I can't help but imagine her acting like the former. 

 

Do we even know the full story behind Andruil though? For all we know, she could have been a pretty nice person.

Hey Royness, are you getting this lovely cool weather that I'm experiencing?  IT was overly hot until recently, when it finally broke.  At last, nights are down into the mid-40s (that's around 7-8 C for you uncouth metric barbarians) and the days are, at least for now, only getting up into the mid 60s.  I've left my windows open a little the last couple of  nights, and awoken to a house hovering around 65 (18C) degrees.  It's glorious.  Went out this morning in boxers and a t-shirt to have a cigarette in the pre-sun dawn (hence neighbors not being able to see me) savoring the 45 degree chill.  My pets probably don't like it, but screw 'em, they have fur.

Actually... I had a morning facepalm moment... Thing is... my head was in English mode and I didn't realize "solas" is the feminine plural form of "alone" in my language  so my phone does not speak elven. 

(It does know "Garrus" though! and that's not a word here).

I'm totally calling it. Solas tried to get his own back on the mean kids that didn't want to be around him. When Mythal moved away, he had no one left who was nice to him, so lost it and hurt them. After growing up, he realised his mistake and decided to apologise to them for what he had done.

Err... I have a little theory. Somewhat related. But I will spoiler it.

Mythal has hijacked his body to get revenge on those behind the veil, that will (assuming) come out once the veil has been lifted. People are going on about Solas being the antagonist.. I still think Mythal is the REAL one. I predict that in future games, Solas perhaps will try to tear down the veil but will start having doubts. Mythal is the real enemy here. Somebody as powerful as her doesn't simply vanish when she has the ability to predict future outcomes..

I am not lacking in entertainment yet I am so behind.. I feel guilty about neglecting games, books, TV series, movies. Ugh.

 

It's a great series.. at first I thought it was disappointing. But eventually got right into it. I love the concepts. It sings to me, in a way. One thing that shits me off is how arrogant Ragnar looks.. but perhaps I'm just jealous of the gorgeous babe he has at his side. Hot damn.
