Yeeeah. Let's just say I know better MP games. DAMP is not that good.
But it's still fine. I just don't play it other than with DQ. Which was a long time ago last time. Timezones don't always match up.
I'm also on the PC, though.
You're czech right? Then we live in the same timezone. My Origin ID is also youaremiles, if you're up for it I'd love to rock some future weekend challenges with you!
This is awesome! I think I must give it another chance. I stopped at the episode that was based on The Dancing Men, sadly.
On the off-chance (or rather, certainty) of this turning into an unfair rant, since I am just as biased with the 1980s Granada show featuring Jeremy Brett; I never quite got into this show - because I hate that modern Sherlock adaptions can never resist the urge to "Monk"-ify him.
Holmes is a gentleman, a man of the world & science likewise, and very adapt of elegantly moving through social circles. Eccentric and very selective in his employment of social ettiquette maybe; but if he behaves in such a dismissive fashion, he is aware of it (King of Bohemia being a bastard for example) and otherwise understands its necessity. For certain however, I think of him not as a creepy, and very hostile basket case as he often struck me there.
I have to admit I never cared much about the whole Sherlock Holmes universe while growing up. So a few years ago I watched the first episode of the BBC series and I was utterly hooked up, I don't think theres a single episode of another series that I watched more often than 'A Study In Pink'.
Then I found out about the Granada Holmes series, bought the whole series on DVD and I loved it even more. 'The Lone Cyclist' is also one of my favourite episodes ever. A friend of mine bought me the books and another friend always mocks me if I'm not in the mood to go drink on the weekend, he goes like 'Ah, you have to watch Sherlock Holmes alone or what?'. Gaaahhhh!
I'm thankful for BBC though, the character of John Watson turned into my most beloved fictional person. Love David Burke's John, love Martin Freeman's John.
