The offer is much appreciated. Thank you.  :)

May I ask, what do you do? For a living? Are you a designer yourself?

I used to be.

Agency work and creating asset files, templates & textures on the side, which then made me become a full-time freelancer.

Now with the flodded market, I am in creative consulting, where I found my niché in providing small-to-private businesses an allround "professional marketing package" to an affordable price; with the ongoing steady business relationship and thus reinforced independency as the, until now, self-sustaining idea. That fancy degree in marketing psychology turned to good use after some decades.

So do you still design or do you just tell people what they want such as an advertising campaign designed in such and such way?

I still "design", but it is only a portion of what I do.

I am basically a one-man-agency, plus also taking care of all practical things; such as the printing companies, the logistics, coming up with smarter budgeting plans for the client, what have you. The client knows who's handling their affairs, they are only dealing with me and can call whenever they feel like it; and vice versa - when a big, corporate competitor of them comes up with a big campaign or offer, I will inform them of it and how they could counter-act it within their means.

That makes sense. So essentially, you do everything from a more knowledgeable stand point, whereas the client wouldn't, and they just put their trust in you to deliver exactly what they need. Kind of like a wedding planner, yeah?

You are the unrivaled master of finding the most flattering comparisons!

Truth be told, I think what I do is still less stressful than planning a single wedding.

....*SNORT*

Anyways that was fun. :D

Witcher 3 Spoilers:

Spoiler

Though on the bad news that happened I got two corrupted data warnings.  I think I solved it but boy did it give me a little pause because I do not think I could play through this ending a third time right now. :(

Anyways at work tonight a funny thing happened to me.  I was in my usual area tonight doing my usual thing...well 'usual' is a bit of an overstatement.  lol.  Anyways though long and the short of it I get off of break, and since I was talking with this person all night long about this very subject she was all 'there is something for you behind the counter'.  I nodded and went to loking for it, and there was a box...opened the box and *gasp* six copies of DAI GOTY edition.  :D :o.  I was actually a bit surprised we would be stocking those.  Though we can't because of technical difficulties.

Wazzup?

Access to my 'old' PC for two days... happy meeting family, but - I have to admit - my old companion is more joy.

Jumped into DA:I while downloading all major Steam updates. Started downloading Trials Fusion, cause we played it for a while on PS4 while visiting a friend. Firing up uplay, Steam and Origin at the same time. Wanting to play DA:I again while downloading, Inquisitor update is there. Pausing Trials, updating Inquisitor, posting here, launching Batman: Arkham Origins (yes, I know)

I think I have a gaming problem.
