On a completely unrelated sidenote, romances in this game are so silly. They're for girls and the kind of man who apparently don't downright resent every other male in their immediate proximity. I would like future installments to contain more killing of things (preferably with medivial fantasy shotguns) and less talky-talk touchy feely.

Seriously now though, I thought Dorian came across very natural. I will admit that -due to self-insertion- I don't wanna play a gay char (I also don't play female chars to get free lezz acshunnz either) but as far as I can tell, he simply has a sexuality and it didn't define his role. You know, maybe it's me, but I feel that's pretty much what ME3's Steve was for example.

Kidding aside I agree about Dorian. Surprisingly though my favorite romance in the game is the one between the male Inquisitor and Cassandra.

 

I find it easy to play a straight character since I spent my teenage years as one.
