Happy to remind you why you get annoyed. :D I absolutely cannot control anyone other than the PC unless the PC goes down. Cannot. And I don't give two shits about quickest or most effective. ;)

Lol, fair enough.

I'm too much of a control freak when it comes to video games so I HAVE to micromanage everything.

Top: Cometh the Gentleman Hunter...

(Not my best work but it'll do.)

I think it was the overall experience. I preordered and was quite excited about it.

It arrived, I wanted to install and the game told me it wouldn't because there was Daemon Tools on my system.

Tried deinstalling Daemon Tools (with registry entries!) and the game still did not want to install. So I cracked a game I bought to make it work. Then I cracked it again because the german version did not even have headshots.

I went through the tutorial and got very very bored. I ran around in the world, doing stuff and got bored again.

Just not my game... and one of the reasons why I nearly never preorder anything anymore ;)

Me. So I see about helping you. Also if the game decides we're lucky punks today.

Aweesomeee! I'm gonna start praying, just in case. I don't know what's up with the connection issues in the mp it...almost... makes you.... wanna drink.

Yes, post nuclear war. Not Elder Scrolls Post nuclear war.

And I think Fallout was way funnier in 1 and 2. More morbid and weird.

And no, thanks ;)

Mah, Iron Roy ninja'd me :(

I love you (platonically) too.

I'm not. :D I love chaos. "Alright, there's bad guys here that need to be killed. Everyone have fun! GO!" I have a hard time controlling other characters because they are their own person so they should be their own person in combat. Very weird, I know, but this is me we're talking about. It feels odd to me to control someone who is already a fully fleshed out character. Like I'm invading them. And that sounds dirty.

IMO, the Fallout series is worth a look at least.

I understand it's a Post-Apo Skyrim in essence? Skyrim felt a bit empty for some reason. Lost interest after 90-ish hours.

I'm exactly the same when playing games that let you have followers/companions, but with different wording.

As for companions, I tend to see it as "I'm the commander, they're subordinates in combat, we're BFF's out of it" and in Origins I'd only switch to other characters if I wanted them to use something. Pause, order, return to the Warden. In the end, my imagination goes like "Morrigan! Blow 'em to hell!"

I just prefer playing as my character then anything else.  I created them.  I forged them.  I spent time working on them.  They are mine.  Plus this probably has something to do with me playing ME first.  I st love playing as my character.

My companions show different sides of themselves in my playthrough thanks to combat! take Kyrrah's one for instance, with BOOM! Squad!

Dorian will constantly throw a fire wall all the way over there miles away from any enemies. constantly, and I find it hilarious since he's the only one that does that yet boasts about being a super amazing mage. Varric likes to scatter elemental mines all around my Inquisitor's feet a lot. Special effects for her spells I guess ?

Cassandra is the only sane one that does what she's meant to do.

I'm no commander in battle, rather Kyrrah isn't. She's a circle mage, raised to follow rules and def not to give orders. You can't trust her to give orders to go pick some flowers, or find a way around a mountain in JoH. She's always getting lost... That's how I play ;)

But when it comes to making decisions between option A and option B? no sweat! flip a coin.. Thedas is doomed one way or another

The console bundle came with Halo Master Chief Collection, Forza 5(?) Battlefield and Titanfall. I traded in the last 3 to get Gears of War and Rare Replay. Got tonnes of games to play already.. but this is problematic as I've got a W3 playthrough on the go.. so I dunno what to do!
