Shh Dienne, it's fine :)

I wasn't going to bring it up because of all the responses were exactly what I expected. I don't name names, it's something I just don't do but thanks for all the back-up folks.

Kara is gonna get very excited when she gets reunited with Dumat's Wrath later in the fic.

Nah, don't worry, I don't...and I don't.

Got it in two.   :D

You are taking your first steps into a larger world.

You might say that:

How very House Bolton of you.

Yeah, that looks like getting arses kicked to me.

Hey Serza you think you are gonna go See Episode VII?

I don't think.

Can you tell me what chronological order they go in, and if I should just avoid some of the movies, if I'm going to watch the first how-many-are-there-right-now-actually.

Ugh there are six movies, they go in chroniligical order Episode 1 to Episode 6.  There are about to be three more main movies plus several...side movies.  Not to mention all the books and games but that is a conversation for another time.  You really should not skip any of them because they are all vital to the story however I really do not care for Episodes 1, 2, and 4, whereas I actually consider 2 to be a bad movie.  But episodes 3, 5 and 6 are quite amazing and 6 is one of my 5 favorite movies of all time.  Still might be number 2.

Start with Star Wars (1977), also known as Episode IV: A New Hope. It's the first one made and the entry point to the series. If you like it then go on to Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi.

The others can be watched afterwards.

You know I just realized I love the idea of Star Wars a lot more then I love Star Wars itself.    How can something be your favorite series of all time or anywhere close when you can barely tolerate half of it?

Now he's left that initial uncertainty behind and given up on that anti-soldier nonsense, he's more fun and also more Doctor than previously.  Was still awesome before, though.

Well, in terms of order they should really be watched in the order they were made.  So 4, 5, 6... then 1, 2, 3.  I say this because otherwise the big reveals of the first trilogy are totally "ruined" by the prequel trilogy, because those ones require you knowing who everyone is going to be already.  This is true even though you might know all the reveals already due to pop culture ;)

Oh, also, The Empire Strikes Back (5) is the best one, and also the one Lucas had least input on.  Hmmm.....

Meh Capaldi really crossed a line for me in Death in Heaven.  But his Doctor seems far more comfortable in the role this season.  Far more balanced. And I am glad all the talk abot making him 'softer' has not ruined the essential Capaldi either, he is still a crotetchy old man but maybe with less of an edge.

.....You know that's a good point to.

Not trying to be "that guy" but you should really try to get your hands on old copies of the movies.  That way you won't be subjected to Lucas-conning.
