If I remember right, it is level based just like the material shop in the Black Emporium. Your level determines what materials are in stock. 

 

 

ok lvl 15 may be too low for the Dragon mats to show up in the merchant shops if it is level. i remember having this conversation when BE came out but can't find the thread, I'm sorry

But I think, now I mentioned it, that it is tied to level.

Oh shoot.  I'm level 15 and I wanted the mats so I could go into JoH with at least some protection.  Feck, I hope it's not a patch problem.

I checked a few of my in-progress characters.  Nothing at level 17, but Dragon Bone was in the shop for my level 19 character.

While playing Mark of the Assassin I get to the second to last big fight before the end, with all the Qunari. Well three or four them start chasging Anders. I watch this happen. He fires a few blasts from his staff, Retreats. Then fires off a few blasts from his staff.

My reaction, I yell out loud: "GET AWAY FROM MY BOYFRIEND"

I then look around the darkened room hoping I wasn't over heard by my Dads judegemental girlfriend

I love it when you bring down one of those b*stards! In the first wave, if you can pick up an orbital strike power up, hold onto it. Don't use it until they become vulnerable, then bring the rain! 70% drop in health if you get every bomb to hit. By the second wave, you should be able to bring down that AT AT with small arms fire, if your team focuses.

The problem is though, there is no way to know you can do that. I only learnt of it when I saw someone else bring down an AT AT with it. There needs to be more indicators in that game.

 

What happened? Oh, nothing. You blacked out and hit your head on that bottle.
