Much as I love Alix's voice, I'm inclined to agree with this. The only line she does better than the other three, but still starts to sound a little shrill. The rest of her angry lines sound shrilly and eye roll worthy to me.
Top: Opera face anyone?

1) Did you just call me 'rabbit'?
2) That is one line of dialogue. The only line she does better than the other three, but still starts to sound a little shrill. The rest of her angry lines sound shrilly and eye roll worthy to me.
1) Try playing Medal of Honor 2010. That line just stuck with me. The protagonists nickname is "Rabbit", and together with his team leader, "Mother" they have to un-f*ck a situation where "Voodoo" and "Preacher" got MIA'd. While looking for them, you encounter a camp with a much more sizeable force. That's when you're told that "Stealth wins, Rabbit."
2) Well, she didn't insert enough growly-noise. But that might just be me. She does 'em all quite well. Plus in my experience, you as an American have a deeper voice than the Brits I've met.
I don't play those kinds of games so I'm not going to understand any references at all that you put into your text. I play Dragon Age where rabbit is an insult.
Well, it's your call.
The reason I'd call a fellow elf a rabbit remains a mystery to me, however.
I love my Alix-voiced qunari, but both Acantha and Inkeri are very... Well Acantha is just plain sweet and cute despite the horns, and Inkeri is icy but very posh and proper.I tried to play an Alix voiced Qunari once and the voice seemed really weird to me. It didn't suit her at all and I ended up deleting her. It's kind of weird how the battle cries/taunts are still in the default voice. Even if you change it to the non-default voice, a Qunari still grunts in Sumalee's voice and it completely ruined my immersion. *drinks because rules*
The anerican male voice just sounds exhausted and tired when he says "can't one ****** thing in this world stay fixed?!" I had to reload because that was just not how Aubrey would say those lines.
Exhausted and tired I think is a good way to say it. I would be exhausted from all the bullsh*t too.
Yes, but not when it's attached to the agressive icon, and it wasn't what I was expecting aftr hearing Alix's version. So I was disappointed.Exhausted and tired I think is a good way to say it. I would be exhausted from all the bullsh*t too.

That's fair. I wasn't saying you were wrong in your thinking.
No, of course. I was just explaining my reasoning behind re-loading the scene. That's fair. I wasn't saying you were wrong in your thinking.
I love what Harry Hadden-Patton did with Inquis voice 99% of the time, but his version sounds soo weird in this scene.
It is! It really is so odd, less angry and more disenfranchised.I love what Harry Hadden-Patton did with Inquis voice 99% of the time, but his version sounds soo weird in this scene.

*cry of pain* "Sh*t! Damn it! We save Ferelden and they're angry! We save Orlais and they're angry! We close the Breach twice, and my own hand wants to kill me. Could one thing in this f*cking world just stay fixed?!"
This is about right, right. I need to find out where to upload an MP3... Gonna see what I can do.
Agreed. Did a wonderful job with the other lines, just not that one.I love what Harry Hadden-Patton did with Inquis voice 99% of the time, but his version sounds soo weird in this scene.

Also known as the stuff you forget when you actually edit the spoilery bit in after relistening to the whole thing to get the proper script for stuff.
Agreed. Did a wonderful job with the other lines, just not that one.
You know, when you first talk to Solas in Haven and get the cutscene and Inquis can say 'Am I riding in on a shining steed?', has to be one of my faves.
Huh. Where do I upload this now. I'm not sure I did a good job, but heck, I channelled my inner really angry *******.

That scene worked so very well with my canonQuisitor with a female amercan voice. Also..
