What a lovely day!

Styx 2 announced!

First thought when I read Styx.

http://www.styx-theg...ck-in-2016.html

I can only recommend picking up Styx: Master of Shadows to anyone who doesn't hate the premise of "Thief" meets "Prince of Persia". An amazingly vertical, Uncharted-esque yet full-blown stealth game and one of my favourites on next gen so far. Plus these guys are with a very small yet major publisher, so they have the cash but also a few crazy ideas. One of them being actually jumping and holding onto ledges whenever you bloody feel like it.

You had me at Prince of Persia and Uncharted! I need to look into this when I leave Nepal.

EWWW

No! not after what Donk and Verse did there.

They better sanitize it before I get back.

ToP: In keeping with the theme of the previous eight hours or so.

What manner of magic is this...?

There's always someone watching.

In other fanboy news, I still love the Descent DLC very much. Can we please make some of those guys the level design team of the next game?

Climbing around the Deep Roads, required to employ actual dexterity; and continously discover that no, this convenient formation of rocks is in fact not random backdrop stuff that magically kills you, but actually leads to a secret area; it's just the best. I completed it weeks ago and still find new things to climb around on every visit... eventually I shall have collected all those bloody gears.

Then again I have been a sucker for the Deep Roads ever since the first game. The visual concept fascinates me. I can only urge anyone to visit the Mulu Caves in Borneo in their lifetime (or beyond if you can), it was one of the most utterly fascinating experiences of my life.

*Beren stretches and sits up in bed in the Armory.  Cassie is over in the corner strapping on her armor*

Beren:   Morning pooh bear.  And just where were you last night?

Cassie:  Oh, nowhere in particular *she says as she whistles the Chuck Wagon theme*

Beren:   Uh huh, okay...   Listen, I need you to speak to the quartermaster about finishing the repairs on Cullen's tower.

Cassie:  Good, I am glad you said that.  I fear he'll catch the death of cold.

Beren:   Uh... yeah, death of cold, that's my concern.  Absolutely.  Say, though, while you're talking to him, tell him I want it lined with solid sheets of steel with copper mesh behind them.

Cassie:  What?  Why?

Beren:   Just do it.

Cassie:  You don't speak to me like that!  I asked you a question!

Beren:   Where were you last night?

Cassie:  Steel and copper mesh.  As you wish, my lord.

Wha? Wha? Why is Roly a "guest" (i.e. the person who started this thread).  Isn't your BioWare account sort of a life thing?

I know it's my typical fly by- bark by- but much confused?!?!?!?

and of course *cheers

*hugs* Heya, FemShem!  Yeah, as others have already informed you, I was indeed Roly Voly.  Well, yes and no.  It's kind of confusing actually.  Roly was never real, you see.  He was a lyrium enabled construct of my thought patterns as they existed in the Maker's grace before being made physical.  It's an Andraste Templar thang. :)

Though you get bonus xp for going on that date with the Dame. She is definitely top tier.. Not unlike my Verse. ;)

I could not agree with you more on that count.  I have never felt more honored by any DQ experience than when Dame graced me with her presence at the square dance.

Sera really gets around DQ'ers it seems

LEVEL 1 confirmed!!

...or the Vallaslin...?

Again, other considerations went unnoticed as I was struck dumbfounded by the more prominent scene of horror.

I must chronicle this.....

*writes more in the Chant of Donk*

You've done good work, so I do now officially recognize you as my successor as the chronicler of The Donk.  May her chant guide you to much sex and, er, more sex.

Are you speaking of Judgement, or GoW3?

Because GoW3 had Sam Byrne, voiced by Claudia Black. No game with a woman looking like this and speaking like that, can ever be even close to horrible.

Judgement. That's the one. I did not like that game at all. Gears 3 was the bomb! Great ending to the trilogy! Sam was one of my favourite characters of the bunch.

See? I'm glad someone else says this! I loved how this DLC played out and the little bit of lore (HUGE LORE though) flushed out more of the Dwarves Origins! I can't wait till my new Dwarf character gets down there in a bit wearing her Legion of the Dead armour!

Yes... definitely enough for... science.

I would like to put up a disclaimer, that my take on science involves nothing but dreamy looks.

And... Vallaslin and ears. First thing you look at. Identify how much glory you're looking at exactly.

You know, now that I think about it...

Where's Al and Kara Lavellan? :P

That's the b*tch about trying to pick a fav with bands like Styx.  Renegade is absolutely great, what with its voice only intro and then jamming into rock.  Btu then so many of their stuff is great.  Still, I think I can say with confidence that my personal favorite will always be Suite Madame Blue, then Lady, then a whole crapload tied for #3. :)

Actually they are both long hair styles. ;) Her hair is pulled back into a pony tail when not in the side braid. I switch between both depending on how much she feels like doing with her hair when she wakes up every morning.
