  OMG, Donk.  I didn't even get that at first.   Just thought it was an odd thing to say and moved on.  Then it clicked.  You nasty, girl, nasty!

It was a wonderful show about space-faring humans who were in a 1,000+ year long war with an alien reptilian race who eventually built human looking robots to fight their war, but the robots turned on their creators, wiped them out, and continued the war against the humans.  Eventually, the robots, called Cylons, tricked the humans, virtually wiping them out.  Only  a rag-tag fleet survived and embarked upon a quest to find a shining planet, known as Earth.

:D  Thought you might take issue with that!

OMG!  Miss T, are you as happy as I about Jemma??  *Squees*  I know she'll have some rough  times, but SHE'S BACK!!!

Also, hi, how are you?  Feeling better yet?

You know Star Trek really is not my thing.  There is not a single show of Trek I would rate above Tier 2.  Though DS9 might be on the boarder.

Yes, I picked up on that. But I didn't care too much.. I mean damn, Triss is hot. They both are. But no, I wouldn't get ticked off.

And there wasn't enough in Sera's romance. ;) THERE WILL NEVER BE ENOUGH. They could make an entire game that lasted 300 plus hours based on Sera.. and it still wouldn't do.

Well, enough people were annoyed, and CDPR care enough about their fanbase to go ahead and do that for free. I for one am happy they did that.

Yeah, it was good of them. But self entitled fans bitching and expecting to have everything their way?

Not so much.

I mean, don't get me wrong it's quite amazing that they are paying attention to their fans but in the long run I think they're gonna regret it. Not their fault.. but it's just how people are.

One word.

Cuntstomers.

Like many things, some episodes of Doctor Who are better than others, and some are worse - pick the wrong one as one's first to watch and you'll be scared off for life.  But there's no guarantee that someone will like the better ones either...

...and there's pretty much no fandom with as much split personality and derangement as the Whovians, with multiple leads and characters and fifty years of stuff to find issue with!

Yeah lets not even discuss Aliens of London please...or WOrld War 3.  Russel T. Davies has some...bizarre ideas for aliens.

Oh!  Well if you're really going to watch it, I should clarify.  The description I gave was for the original BSG from the 1970s.  Watching that series now, it is quite campy, but I still love it for nostalgia reasons.  They redid the series back in 2004 with a Miniseries beginning and then 4 seasons of shows (and a couple of movies.)

The remade series has a different beginning for the Cylons and is quite a bit darker than the original.  I love both.  If you were only ever going to watch one, I would suggest the new remade one.

You know all you guys are pretty awesome right. :) Doubt I could find a better group of friends to hang out with.

You know why?  Because we're a family of sorts.  That means we can get pissed off at one another, be crabby, what have you, then just tell each other to suck our weenus and be good again. :)

Hehe, okay!  That scene just aired Monday.  It's from "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D."  I just figured with it being such a new .gif that you purposely searched for it. :)

Does that mean I'm incest?

That's why I specifically included the words "of sorts" in there.  Insulation, as it were, given my Roly's past...

So I've now had a bit of a play of DARK SOULS on PC. I had to drag out my xb360 controller to play it as m+k was just about impossible and awfully done. I'm useless with controllers but it was still easier that way.

It's quite frustrating, isn't it?

It's one of my favourite games of all times. But rest assured, I felt the exact same, yet the game loses this frustration at like 10% of your playthrough. You will still die, but you will have figured out how the game wants you to play; and what to do differently than in your usual ARPG. I don't think I know a single person who didn't start playing, throw it in a corner after two hours; and then return to it after some time and fall in love with it.

I love it primarily for the way multiplayer is handeled, what an affair of the heart coop can be for some new players (the altruist in me gets off on that), and how different everyone's character is. You don't encounter the same looking player twice, safe for some overly popular builds famed by the community.

Spear and Heater Shield is a pretty safe bet early on and a bow with plenty of arrows will allow you to pick enemies off from long range.

Might pay to play offline though.

I've got the added problem of getting used to a console controller just to play it, too.
