No. I'm well under the radar, as would be advisable. For a person like me, anyway.

Busy with 90% sneakiness, 5% stuff shooting and 5% of pure badassery. I wouldn't expect myself for the next few hours. Too busy, see.

I'm a guy in a ghillie suit, with a .338 LM sniper rifle in my hands.

There is only one reason I preferred the TAC-50 in the past.

Anti-Mat capability. .338 LM has a superior ballistic curve, thus extended range compared to the fifty.

Bows are not precision weapons.

They are compared to swords.

And machine guns.

Depends on the sword but swords in general require some degree of finesse.

But no distance...unless you are Geralt of Rivia of course.

I don't see any correlation between distance and precision.

The rapier for instance is all about precise thrusts and timing since it can't cut for s***.

Maybe, but to me at least we are talking about distance and  precision in the design of the weapons.  Sniper Rifles are deisgned to take people, or machines, down from long distances with a single shot.  Same thing with Archery.  Generally speaking.

Pretty much any weapon that isn't used like artillery (and even then) requires finesse. At least, if you want to be better than the people you're trying to kill.

My favourite things in one picture :D archery and horses. I've tried mounted archery before, it's hard but requires having a strong connection to your horse's movements and mannerisms, plus decent balance for the shot. Amazing experience but to get precise (good) enough to hit the target requires a lot of practise.

I did not know you were an archery fan...  huh.  And I am not abandoning my love for the bow I just find this whole conversation really ironic. :P  Also Kara has not really been into the whole mounted combat sort of thing.
