Inflammation in the ear canal, infection basically, almost certainly from when I had my ear "syringed" a couple of weeks ago. Massively painful, drops to medicine it and lots of painkillers to be able to function at all.

I used to get ear infections all the time when I went swimming when I was younger.  Don't know why, but it never happens anymore.  Also, weirdly, it was always the left ear.  *shrug*  Feel your pain, man.

Hah, no not that Doc!   No, the one in the courtyard that talks about magic not being necessary.  Good health is diet, exercise, and a balancing of the humors, and how drilling a hole in your skull can cure anything.  You know, come to think of it, I  really shouldn't have listened to her.

 

Last time I spoke to that Doc she wanted to bleed me using leeches. I noped out of there so fast.
