Never played Rift here.. heard they had some of the same skills.

I love my Rift mage. Similar skills to Force Mage. I honestly don't know which one I like better.

Force mage is  CC and Defence. Rift Mage is more CC oriented...

Rift sounds kinda cool at a glance, but loved the synergy of the multiple force skills. Didn't use all of them though.. Fist of the Maker sucked. I ended up smashing people with Tele burst if up close, always opening with that ground warping skill... then pull of abyss and firestorm.
