You really need to move out of Australia, Donkinator.   Come to America, or maybe our nicer neighbor, Canada!

I take offense to that. Can't stand that b*tch.

I'm actually moving to a much nicer place in the next couple of months or so. By the sea

This one understands.

Fun fact I used to sleep with an axe beside my bed.. but those were more um.. colourful times. :P

Ugh went to bed early due to headaches and dizziness and it's 2 am. Heard some drunken fool yelling, probably happens on a regular basis knowing this place.. but I'm usually dead to the world.

Oh well, as good a time as any to start writing I suppose.

Now, since there will be so many damn characters.. it will be structured similar to Game of Thrones. For anybody who has read those books, each chapter is through the viewpoint of a different character.

The only other people who use that quote is Stannis Baratheon and Davos Seaworth, and the latter does it ironically.

SPEAKING OF GoT.

Seems Rose Leslie is in The Last Witch Hunter and looking as bad ass as ever.

You know I really do not get the complaint of Season 5 being so boring.  I mean I do, because it is...but how does this vary from the other four seasons?  GoT is a slow burn, and then episodes 7-9 to varying degrees is OHMYGAWD and then episode 10 sets up next season.  This is just the formula the show has always used.

Oops. I didn't even realize. *slaps self* I will go change it in a minute.

You actually have a point. Season one however was really good and to me remains the best... oh and season 3 (if that's the one with the red wedding, I'm unsure).

Perhaps it's just a matter of becoming used to the same old thing with each season?

When the series first came out, it was all new and unique. It has brutality that is lacking elsewhere in TV series, particularly when it's all rehashes of stupid girls stuck in love triangles between vampires, werewolves and other creatures  Cheers for that, Twilight.

Both GoT and DA have gotten me into fantasy sh*t cause prior to that I thought it was a lame genre.

Same here. :P  IDK favorite season, yikes that is a tough one but its not one.  I did not get hooked on the show till the Battle of Blackwater Bay so tht one always ranks highly and then season 3 did have the Red Wedding.  Season 4 was a bit inconsistant though, the Battle of Castle Black lacked a certain 'humph' to it, but season five is quite highly rated for...just how the last 3 episodes fucks with your emotions.

I forgot about the battle of Blackwater Bay!

Actually season 2 could possibly be my favourite. I loved Tyrion's little arc, being the new "master of coin".

Season 4 is the one where Joffrey got killed, yeah? One of my favourite moments in the series. I've always wanted that snot nosed inbred sh*t to die, and my fantasies came true  double whammy when Tyrion killed daddy as well. Love that dude.

One thing that shits me is they tend to kill off my favourite characters. I liked Eddard.. though I wish he had more of a spine then he wouldn't have gotten killed. And I liked Robb and was right behind the "king in the north".

Ugh and Season 4 had the epic speech by Tyrion and then 'My name is Iningo montoya, you killed my sister, prepare to die.'  Oh wait I mean Oberyn Martell.  Thsi show is pretty amazing.

That guy had that strongest spine out of the entire list of characters in the show and books! That guy doesn't bend for nobody. The only reason why he agreed to saying he did it and go to the wall was so that he could tell Jon of who his mother was, which he promised to do.

True. But I meant it in a different light, though.

It could be considered gutsy to have honour.. but in the end, that's what got him killed.

Well, I have 8 days to complete it and I'm not even sure it will be finished by then :( that worries me lol.

And I think it's gonna be long, so long that I'm gonna made it into a PDF and upload it to some filesharing site so I hope you guys have a PDF reader.. and hope the length doesn't discourage you. (Inb4 that's what she said).

You can always trust a dishonest man to do something dishonest. You can never trust an Honest man not to do something stupid.

He's the patron saint of Honour Before Reason for good reason.
