So for the DAI one, I got Solas.

Wow! ASL??!!?
I hate to inform you that your sarcasm or joke or whatever you were trying for here has gone right over my head because I have no idea what ASL stands for. lol. I got the sarcasm part from the Wow! part.

*Ber snickers and highfives sis*
And here I was about to go all "brother mode" and hulk>thor gif punch him, but looks like you took the wind outta those sails just fine!
ETA: He was, btw, asking for your age/sex/location ![]()
OMG there are young people in here. ASL slang in chat rooms back in the late 90s early 2000s.

Still doing that boring Wicked Hearts, etc, etc quest. Third day and not done.
Almost a week away from Fallout 4 from being released. I think Fallout 3 and New Vegas are calling to me.

Well, I understand both Slayer. And ASL. ![]()
I confess I have been longing for some Tamriel time. But also LiS, XCOM, more DAI. Too many games. Life was simpler in the 70s with just a pong console.

Makes sense then, I've never been in a chat room other then Origin chat. and forums I guess. lol

I got Alistair and Cole. Huh...
Have you played Elder Scrolls online?
Nope. I've considered buying it, but just can't get motivated enough to pay money for an online multiplayer game.
I coudn't bring myself to play in Tamriel.... with other people. TES is more fun to me for it's random crazyness.. like GTA.

It is strange, and the game was awesome at release but ll the changes since.. I just can't get into it anymore. (eso that is)
Not into MMOs. Bring on the single player RPGs.

It's kind of worrying me though.. there's a big shift to making everything more social, across games in general. I'm here for escapist experiences.

I like mmo's where I don't actually have to interact with anyone to finish the main story etc of the mmo. so only two keep me going back to them lol. lotro and swtor, both can be played mostly solo, seeing as I'm only interested in whatever the epic quest (lotro) or class story (swtor) is, not the pvp/raids etc that require interaction with other people *shudders*

Reminds me of the good old days of Diablo Battlenet. PKing and collecting some ears and phat l00t.

the huge popular in-thing for AAA games these days is multiplayer or co-op . it sucks, so many games are pressured by the publishers to tack on some sort of multiplayer option, I play games to get away from idiots people... not to find more of them!
i concede on my mmo's, I play them knowing Im going to stumble into 50 idiots/rude people a day.. good news, in-game chat turns off ![]()
except if you're stuck in an mmo where there isn't a chat box, but voice chat instead eww

It's even stranger.. People WATCH others play now. I'm kind of surprised at the money competitive gaming is making.. or popularity with Twitch. To each their own, but I'm not even remotely in that demographic.
Then I also see more and more hardware pushes to social living room experiences (Wii or Kinect) and VR articles everywhere. Or mobile games. I don't care!
And everyone has a goddamn Twitter account to boot. ![]()
I have a twitch account but my net connection sucks (other household member streams anime to watch all the time) during the times I can stream. I don't think I have a twitter account, if I do it was years ago that it was last accessed.
But yep, that's the industry today. I can't watch people play games, unless it's someone I know and it's streamed live and I have time to watch.
Yeah, sorry if that came off as too hateful. I just mean all of these platforms assume some kind of social experience. I could see some fun in it, but mostly I'm trying to escape from it. I don't want games that build up upon or produce a social life.
