The people who brought you Battlestar Galactica and Mistborn.

Pretty good sci-fi/fantasy tastes. But also think their religion is that way too. :P

I still have no idea.

That is a sexy sight.

First I thought to buy digital copies, because it will be quicker and cheaper.. but damn. I adore printed books in general, but these two... ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha...

Can't wait for second volume to arrive, but it will be in only in next month.

OK, I'm done sharing random irrelevant information, now, Lyn, could you, please, tell me: will you Twitch today?

I still have no idea.

Like I said, I have nothing to offer of myself except humor. And even that's going over your head.

It's a Christian denomination, albeit with some separate unique texts and interpretations. Personally though, i think they're like many evangelicals... one to one. If that helps. They don't bite. Until they knock on my door and tell me Joseph Smith is the most important prophet. Then I'm like "Joseph Smith? Really? Not very epic sounding. Like an Elijah or an Ezekiel."

I have that book! The one with the dragon on it! That type looks awesome in Cyrillic.

To tell the truth this book is the one I wanted to buy most, because I more or less know all lore details I need atm, but art of Inquisition is truly enchanting, couldn't resist.  :D

Yoinks *pauses and replaces on table*  My boys have 'specific' instructions about what to get me this Christmas.

I brought it to myself as a present too   :D

If they don't, I fully expect you to guilt-trip them with crying Dave.

It's not? Good to know. So what's the difference with coffee?

If you don't mind, how do you tolerate radically different minds at public places like this? I'm not a Mormon, but probably closer than you think. I don't think I can be entirely upfront.

People assume it is the caffeine that makes it 'off limits', but it's not. Kinda hard to explain. There's something in it that makes it harmful (cue every known study about how coffee is better for you than sugary sodas).

I'm very flexible and tolerant. I understand people have views that are different than mine and that's cool. I prefer not to engage in serious discussions.

I passed on the art book. Almost passed on WoT 2, but since I had the first one, I figured I'd get it. Ended up enjoying it..

FWIW, as a Missourian, I apologize for that  whole Mormon War thing...

What's a Mormon?

Mormon is the common term for members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, LDS for short. This is not the place to discuss religion so I will say no more on the subject.

Digital copies don't do the art inside the books justice. It's so pretty.

And, yes. Shembala.....

Cool. I'd like to say I'm tolerant, but I do have my limits. It's probably more that I don't want to be too unproductive. It can be a mess once you're serious. And no one comes out learning much anyways. :\

I had wondered if you were Mormon after seeing one of your pumpkins was a BYU one*.

I think this is finally a safe place for me to really say why Inquisition annoys me btw.

Faith. I hate the way it's treated. Nuff said.
