For the next DA I was hoping elves would not look at malnourished as they did in Inquisition. What do you guys think? I definetely think they should tweak the model a little...

 

Definitely. I had my mind somewhat set on playing one (male), and instantly said "Uh uh" when it was released. They look like me when I was 12 and felt the worst about myself. Exactly why would I fantasize about this?

They do still suffer from the old noodle arm problems... so bearing in mind that I get the feeling I simply MUST play an elf next time I hope they sort it out.

I never saw elves as looking malnourished in DAI. Reading that always irks me a little. I know perfectly healthy adults that are that skinny. Hell, one of my coworkers was tinier than a lady elf. The only issues I have with the model is the rigging. Broken and weirdly bent arms.

I actually like the elf model, well the female one, anyway. The male elf has some issues...  Lol. *shudders as she thinks of a male elf in Qunari armour*

I always take it as someone assuming one thing, but asking clarification. That's just how I always read it.

Perhaps malnourished is not quite the word. But it is fact that male elves are a no no. And their heads are overall (not the main ones' case) too big for their bodies...

 

But yeah, when I posted the topic I meant mostly males.

 

I know developers meant to make them look "unique", but come on... Bring Legolas in, already!

If it makes you feel better though, I tried to soften my insult by insulting myself in the process. Have you ever seen PJ Harvey? I was kind of the teen male version of that.
