I have just started an Assquisitor playthrough with my first qunari.  Do companions automatically leave when they are at negative approval or do you have to kick them out?

Not all of them. The only ones that walk out on you are Blackwall and Cole. Dorian will leave if you tell him to or if punched, Sera has to be kicked out. Vivienne, Varric, Solas, Bull (need confirmation), and Cassandra cannot leave.

Ha!  I got used to running around in an awkward silence in my first playthrough (banter bug), so I'm used to it  Actually come to think of it I should ride the bull, considering what happens in Trespasser (which I've not yet seen because I sided with the chargers), so I guess I can't pith him off too much.

There has been a major Nexus Mod Manager update. I had no clue, just hit the usual 'update' button. Wanted to play a little Skyrim.

Now the new version wants to reinstall all mods or make me manually patch down my mod manager. With no mention where to get that fancy downgrade. 300+ Mods reinstalled... I'll bet there'll be major issues when I can finally fire it up. If I can start it. I'm quite sure, this whole reinstalling process will crash at a certain point.

 

Start date 15:10.

Damn, just noticed that Dalish piece is clothing... can't figure out to upgrade it to an armor...

Well... the deinstallation process stopped two minutes ago.

And I am in a panic for supposingly ruining my game. That was not smart. Especially since I haven't played it recently, so I have no idea which was when installed. Ugh. And now the mod manager wants to know what I want to install. If I just knew

 

Edit: Also great, whenever a menu pops up, it hides behind my browser.
