In other news, in addition to dealing with work-related stupidity i've spent my morning researching why win10 refuses to install updates. Again.  I swear, if it wasn't for the 200+ game steam library i'd chuck the pc and get a high-end tablet with a keyboard instead.

Ah, yes.. When I had to edit CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT, just to play games in DOS.... squeezing as much space out of my whopping 4MB of RAM.

 

I wish I was like Billy. He had a Pentium and a mindboggling 8MB of RAM.

I always put all those shiny Uniques in my Storage, and hate getting rid of things I really like, hoarding them instead (plus, I played Hoarding Simulator: Skyrim like anyone else and hoarded everything in Breezehome)

Huh. In that case I'll wait until they force me to swap systems somehow. I mean, I still got this install disc for W7 here... Don't need 10 just yet.

 

Cortana's the only major thing about it for me, anyway, and I didn't even play HALO before (though I AM an ODST, and you can't say I'm not!)

Yeah, it's a novelty that would likely wear off within a week. Pretty cool the first week, though.

 

Just... I'm used to typing everything anyway, and who knows if Cortana is good at voice recognition. I mean, I'm not a native, and there are no good voice recognition things for the Czech language. Kind of like Scottish accents *remembers the hilarious video with a voice.controlled elevator in Scotland*

I WANT to like win10. When it works, it works well. Unfortunately it seems to spawn new and interesting glitches at random and its just not fun wondering whether or not your system will work again after powering down. I get the feeling that the whole architecture of the OS is held together with duct tape and prayer :/

 

Oh, and MS did manage to pretty much break the XBONE for anyone who does anything else but play games using the controller (and ONLY the normal controller) after the recent win10 update there. So yay :/

Yeaaaah. I'd need a universal all English accent thing. I mean, I don't think you'll easily tell where I'm from with just my accent (I use a few native ones, but I jump between them as often as individual words sometimes - it's automatic) because I just don't have any of my original accent in English anymore. Instead, I'm ALL OVER THE WORLD with my accent.
