I WANT to like win10. When it works, it works well. Unfortunately it seems to spawn new and interesting glitches at random and its just not fun wondering whether or not your system will work again after powering down. I get the feeling that the whole architecture of the OS is held together with duct tape and prayer :/

 

Oh, and MS did manage to pretty much break the XBONE for anyone who does anything else but play games using the controller (and ONLY the normal controller) after the recent win10 update there. So yay :/

 

I didn't know the new update did that. Maybe it has something to do with their new Elite controller software.. maybe it'll get fixed.

 

Those games finally showed up on BC list btw.. you were right.

Yeah, apparently there's a chance that the update turns the Elite controller in to a 100€ brick. Also it can break external hdd media playback, headsets, the physical remote, Smartglass....Basically every peripheral. It was bad enough that they crippled the Kinect intentionally :/   Glad to hear about the bc games, too bad the only one i have is Reach which ain't released yet

I'd recommend Beyond Good and Evil, if you haven't played it. There isn't much else though.

Speaking of nightmares. I had the most fucked up dreams. So effing strange I can't even tell all of it because my brain just goes 'What?' when I try to remember it.

But the DA:I/games related part:

I'm playing a lot of Bioshock right now, so everyone knows when the Big Daddys are green under their mask when friendly/you use them with a plasmid and it turn's red when they turn hostile/you attack them?

Somehow Shale was in my dreams and her... 'face' switched from green to red and I was like 'Oh ****, no!', started running away and of course I had to run up a huge hill so I was pretty slow. But then Shale started chasing me and then there were hundreds of people because they were apparently running a marathon right there?

Then I tried to hide in the entrance of a hotel, where some hollywood actors were stuck in the entry thing that spins, uh you know what I mean?

Wtf, but Shale still chased me and then there was a big showdown and some superhero type people appeared, 'destroyed' Shale and I wanted to go back to her body because 'You don't know her like I do!'. What. Shale then went back to normal. What.

(I also dreamt about the upcoming bday party of my cousin and there were capybaras lying in the bed. What.)

I know what you mean.. I use Steam to get a lot of oldschool ****. Or isometric RPGs and strats.

 

Still, BG&E was a neat little action adventure gem.. was kinda overlooked on PS2 years back, but still won Game of the Year from developers...

150?!  I feel guilty because I'm picking up Fallout 4 on Wednesday and I still haven't started Bloodborne yet (looks guiltily at unopened Bloodborne case).

Queen of noobs? I'm the King. Sometimes. (I mean, when you kill people left and right, five hundred meters out with a SAW, you're pretty good... If you then fail to use your brain and get stuffed by a stronk rossiya tonk, you're a noob in my book. As it turns out, that's me within the space of a two hour operation. Both the SAW mowing, and the stronk tonk wipeout.)
