I'm hoping that when I finish my DA:I relationship goals (all the romances except for Josie) that a new BioWare game is out! If not, I don't know what I'll do!I've done every DA romance with the exception of Blackwall and Sera. I play these games to death. Meanwhile, the backlog of other games continues to grow.
DA and SR are two series I just leave installed because I know I'll go back to them. That used to be the case with RE. Not so much anymore. What are you doing Capcom?

"In a Sunburned Country" is a great book, FYI.
Okay, I'll gladly take the shivers over the sweats. I hate winter, but not as much as I hate summer.
Ooh, book to look at.
My line came from a poem I know - My country

^ For a second there I misread the lows as highs and wondered where on this pitiless earth you could be to already have temperatures that low.

Bill Bryson is one of my favorite writers -- he's a nonfiction guy whose books tend to be half travel memoir, half history book. Everything I know about Australia stems from that book -- so be sure to let me know if he's wrong about anything (but he probably isn't).
I am a naturally high body temp person, so I sweat while standing still if the temp exceeds like 60 F. Hence my aversion to warmer climates. My philosophy is that you can always add a layer if you're cold, but there's only so much you can take off.

To be fair, the operative word is "already." It gets decently cold where I've lived (New York, Boston, Pittsburgh, Columbus) but I know that -10F seems warm to some places in the world
Just knowing that winter will be here until April, I'm not prepared to see 20F temps yet, haha.

No idea what Fahrenheit translates to, but it's common to see people wandering about in shorts and sneakers despite snow and -15 degrees celcius. To be fair, the operative word is "already." That'd be 5F (and -10F would be about -23C).
How is hypothermia not a problem there? I feel like even perception of temperature is irrelevant when you're exposing skin to that extremity.

We've had two days of solid rain. I'm not sure about tomorrow.
So, I spent an hour or so this evening killing the last few high dragons for the Dragon's Bane achievement and I didn't get the notification that I had received it. I thought it may have glitched out. I checked my achievement list and realized I'd already earned it back in June. ![]()

Oh gosh, no I mean maybe if they stayed outside for hours, but most people drive here so it's a quick walk from their car to the building. That'd be 5F (and -10F would be about -23C).

Anyone staying outside for more than 10 minutes is smart enough to wear layers.

The weather here has been nothing but rain and wind for about a week and I hate it. *mutters something about stupid rain/cold and drinks*

That's fair. Though I'd still expect shorts to just... not have become a thing at such temperatures.
Also, Dame's Russian, isn't she. Which would explain the uncontrollable laughter.

When you deal with -20 to -40 temperatures for weeks on end, -10 feels downright balmy! That's fair. Though I'd still expect shorts to just... not have become a thing at such temperatures.

Hey. Sorry! Was busy being an Inquisitor.
Read: talking a lot in Skyhold whilst waiting for War Table operations to turn in. And collecting blood lotus. And reconciling the Pavuses.
