Currently on Windows 7 from the hard drive I took from my aging desktop.

GTX770 2GB, OC version

Win7 Ultimate 64bit

 

All in all, if I do proper maintenance, I can Ultra DAI (and other FrostBite 3 games) with no real framerate drops.

I...splurged a little. I really don't plan on upgrading parts in this thing for some time. It'll be nice to have a PC for gaming again. Grew up with one.

I had the GPU for about a year now. MOBO and RAM, I'm not sure... but my CPU's last been upgraded after BF3 came out. That's 4 years ago. I don't really think I'll go for i7, though - i5's tend to be more than enough for gaming, and i7's usually pack that extra punch for video processing and such. Not like you won't use it, but i5's can do the job just fine. My opinion, anyway. Some i5-44xx would probably be what I'd go for right now, but the 2500K is still one helluva beast.

Oh! i7-2600K? That's pretty much the comparable i7 to my i5. If you... well... Ugh. How do I explain. Back in the day, i5-2500K and i7-2600K. And I think the 2600K actually has Hyper Threading, so four physical cores, and four more logical cores. Technically an 8-core.

 

16 Gigs of RAM is... I've 8, it's plenty, but some people prefer 16 for extra reserve. I know people with just 6 gigs.
