I missed this earlier and want to comment on it.  The difference, imho, is that thanksgiving or no, people will get hurt, there will be fires, people need to eat, people need places to sleep while traveling, etc etc.   So yes, while it is unfortunate that not everybody can be off work on Thanksgiving, it is understandable that some industries do need people in place.  Don't feel bad for needing to get another can of cranberries or whatever.

 

Nobody needs to buy the latest kickass 60-inch flatscreen on Thanksgiving.

 

It's true (and I definitely get the frustration over the consumerist insanity). At the same time, I do feel like there is something to the argument "if people with important jobs don't get guaranteed holidays, why should people in retail be guaranteed one?" I don't know. Like I said, generally speaking I hate that Thanksgiving day has been broken into by the sales, but I don't see it as pure evil the way I first did. *shrug*

 

Make it a Hawaii with Ananas Express!

No idea if I'll like them, I really hope I do, but I mean for less than $10 it's a gamble I'm willing to make!

ME 1 was horrible on PC.  Gut wrenching experience that made me hate all the things.  I think it lowered the tier even.  It was all like. 'What is this ****'.

Yeah, I bought up a bunch of sales recently. Noticed the Divinity stuff.. but the new one (Original Sin) is actually an improvement for the makers.

I sniped on Xbox Mako. It wasn't great or anything, but definitely functional scoping.
