ME2 Suicide mission choices I used:

 

Fire Team Leader, Round 1: Garrus (Loyal)

Thru the Tunnels: Legion (Loyal)

With Shepard: Miranda, Grunt (Both Loyal)

 

Fire Team Leader, Round 2: Garrus (still Loyal)

Assisting Crew: Mordin (Loyal, any other choice likely results in his death, loyal or otherwise)

Bubble: Samara (Loyal.  Other options are Jack (loyal) or Morinth (she's always loyal since Samara is dead)

With Shepard: Legion (still Loyal) with Sniper rifle equipped, Thane (loyal) also with Sniper Rifle

 

Final Choice:  Legion and Miranda (both Loyal) with Shepard.  The Combination of Garrus, Grunt, Zaeed (all Loyal), with Mordin onboard the ship, will be able to shield everyone else, Assuming that the entire team is loyal.  No Fatalities.

 

And That was my first run thru.  I actually DIDN'T know that you could lose people......

My ME2 ended up being a super dark space drama.

Accidently lost Legion by not upgrading the ship enough when we went hurtling through space, and his cabin exploded.

Lost the whole crew because I figured they could make their way through the empty area we just cleared, stupid crew getting themselves killed...

And then Zaeed got killed leading the team because I didn't trust Miranda on point and thought my bf Garrus needed a break from leading. Gah.

I was so lucky that first playthrough. didn't lose anyone in that mission!

If you like shoot-y games, it's good. If you like having a sidekick who feels like their own person and actually helps and never hinders, it's great. If you like an intriguing and complicated plot, it's superb. If you like a game that will twist your mind in knots and leave you gaping in surprise, it's fantastic.


It's also the only game to make a song by the Beach Boys (as sung by a barbershop quartet) the creepiest song ever.
