I want to apologize if that got taken the wrong way.  I didn't mean for it to come across as French "bashing" in any way.  I just don't much care for the sound of the language.  It's too soft and squishy, like the Asari.  Italian is much the same, imho.  Spanish, Portuguese, and Latin are fine, but not Italian and French.  That's just my personal take.  I like the sound of Japanese, but not Thai.  *shrug*

But how is that fair to the 50+ other games that I've bought on Steam sales, but never played?!

That's too adorkable.

What the hell?  You guys are getting mass fires AND hail?  And I thought Mother Nature hated me...

Yeah, she doesn't even hug, what the heck makes y'all think she'd cuddle?

And thanks for the political smackdown, Royness :)  Those things get too heated too fast.

:crying:  Poor Betty...  Always liked her character, even though she was certainly far from perfect.

And just when I was beginning to move on from that bit of awkwardness Beren snatches it from the grave.

I think we are all mature adults here and can handle a conversation about such things.  We have before without issue. One of the reasons I like you guys.

Ironic because that's another one of my pet peeves.

They almost succeeded in making me smile.

What is Liliana?

A typo of "Leliana" I say.

I return from the land of...of...the future?

Spoiler

And mine is Jar-Jar Binks.

*gasp*

You know Foley. On that "uncomfortable" subject.

I recall you saying a while ago you didn't believe in marriage. But you believe in waiting.. What for?

And as a disclaimer I'm not bashing anything that others here believe in. For instance I know Roy wants to get married before she does the deed.

Well its complicated but my oppsoition to marriage is political and not on religious or moral grounds per se thus I cannot get into it here.  To put it in an extremly complex way yet simple enough where it may answer the question.  I believe in the instution of marriage I just do not believe in how the US handles it.  And probably most of the Western world.  AND Poodle is effectively right, I believe in waiting for commitment, whatever the heck that means.  And also more of an ability of myself to actually feel like I can actually take care of a kid because I believe that all sex could lead to the creation of a child, even if precautions are taken, so I will not have sex until I am more confident in myself to take care of another human being both financially, and morally.

...and I actually basically answered the question. :P

Apologies, Foley, for dredging up a dead topic.  I was catching up hours and hours of DQ there.

I BSN like I do my women -- fast, to the point, and don't stick around. ;)

Fair enough.

Personally I will only have sex with somebody if I like them. I am not sure if that's principal or just how I feel.. But i could never bed a total stranger even with lots of alcohol ;)

I think it's more to do with.. While aesthetics do count for something ultimately I have to like what's "inside" as well, as lame and as cheesy as that may sound.

As for commitment well.. Its easy to talk about it but much harder in practice. I was with my ex for a year and was "committed" despite the dysfunction.. But she drove me nuts and on an impulse I just up and left. Best decision of my life. Especially when things became clear..

But like all things it depends on the situation, the people involved, etc.

Well I believe in that to.  The inside.  I was proud of myself my last big crush in college was on a girl and I was beginning to entertain notions of she might be 'the one', I really enjoyed her company and she was cute as hell, had the mouth of a sailor.  Until she said one sentence and I could literally just feel the affection leach out of my face.  We still continued on being good friends and I doubt she ever knew I was interested in her, then...not.  But that was a seminal moment of my life.

If I wasn't so anti-censorship I would delete my post Traggy-style.

I cannot risk exposing myself for the bullshit artist that I truly am.
