There's this special on CNN called "Being Thirteen". I'm kind of glad I'm not young and grew up now. Social media and phones have made these kids screwed up.. As if peer pressure wasn't bad enough. Now they obsess over selfies, take 100 pics a day, just to get one that looks perfect... else their life crumbles or some ****.

It's probably just that I wasn't expecting there to be such a difference between the two, and I found myself waiting for characters and songs that never showed up.

my kid is waiting as long as I did before getting a phone. and even then it will be an ol' cheapo.. not a fancy iphone type thing that costs an arm and a leg.
