Oh man, I hate vanguard. I don't mean in a disdainful way, but rather in a "OH SH*T, OH SH*T, OH SH*T, I'M GONNA DIE" way. Such a high stress way to play. Serious respect to any and all who master its style.
Oddly, Ovarina is rocking her Sentinel in ME3 almost like a vanguard. She's just keeping her tech armor active, pretty much ignoring her tech and biotic powers, and shotgunning / meleeing everything to death. So far it's working. Sort of.
I swear, Sentinel changes more from ME1 > ME2 > ME3 than any other class.
