lol.. I thought so at first kinda.. but he wasn't that bad later. I think Jedi screwed up his head.. the whole idea of detachment is uncool and unreal. He knew this.. but it opened him to Palpatine to find another answer. If he just had a normal mindset, he would have saw Palpatine as insane too.

 

Clone Wars actually kinda shows how his trust in the Jedi Council was eroded over a long period of time and how the war made him harsher as time went by.  And boy did the council make some truly bone-headed moves during that time. Good ol' Palpy didn't really have to do that much

Yeah, that helped too.. but I think that core philosophical difference with "detachment" is pretty interesting and at the heart of the matter.

 

I don't know if Lucas intended it to be viewed so negatively.. he seems kind of a fan of the real ideals the Jedi are based on. But I dislike it..

 

In the end, Anakin still fulfills the prophecy too. He brings balance to the force.. lol

you know it occured to me while watching the title crawl for AoTC that the Force Awakens might be the first time the Force has awakened in a long time.  Considering the line 'the limited number of Jedi Knights has made keeping peace and order throughout the galaxy difficult'.

I saw someone who wasn't an inquisitor with Andronikus Revel the other day so now i know that my inquisitor will be getting her husbando back Just hope he remembers the little talk we had, would hate to have to deal with him if he goes all jealous over Lana.  Now i just need to track down one errant apprentice and my bodyguard....

Yeah. The whole detached thing works just about as well as celibacy has worked for any group ever   Both are incredibly stupid and run counter to some of our most basic instincts.

 

But lets remember that we are talking about a man who invented midichlorians. Which, funnily enough, were never mentioned again after episode 1

Has anyone here played Hard West? I know there are Xcom fans here.. it's apparently similar.

I am going to be REALLY angry if they've locked members of  the old crew behind group content or the pvp crap. I refuse to do either. I laughed out loud at the 'complete 20 pvp matches' one and promptly abandoned the quest

 

I just know I haven't finished any of the tacticals quest (star fortresses) and I have not had a chance to get more companions then the ones shown in the pic of my companion list I posted the other day. Adronikus was not one of them

google was no help what-so-ever either

 

edit: when my new main reaches the base I'll know for sure, been hoarding all my supplies turn-ins for her to use (since bound to legacy) so won't have to do the tacticals to get my base upgraded a ton.

This was only ordered 3 days ago and was delivered from the good old USA.  But, it's Vol 2 (arrived before Vol 1).  It wouldn't hurt to have a sneaky peak, or should I wait .......  *starts scratching at shrink wrap*
