Pfffft. Got an email from a competition. "English speaker of the year" they call it.

 

Basically, people from over the country, competing.

 

I participated. Oh, yes, I did. Two, three years ago, I can't remember.

 

My english was equal to those three on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd places... except for the accent. Even those years ago, my fluent english had an accent that could perhaps pass. On top of having equal grammar, vocabular and phonetic skill, I spoke with an english accent - not the joke most people keep over from their native Czech.

 

I was fourth.

Can't have an IT school student be better at English than all the general schools, can you.

...and if yes, why ever admit it. My school was prestigious not for the english skill of it's students, but their skill in IT.

Everyone thought it was exceptional for my school to reach 4th place.

Just got a brief where I have to "Create a new-to-world, accessible, mass-market beauty brand that breaks established category codes." Essentially meaning, create a beauty brand that does not have any reference to gender stereotypes. *sigh* No idea where to start... Next week. I'll start thinking about it next week. Not now. No fecking way am I thinking about it now.

I couldn't do that. Not creative enough. I can work my imagination if I'm given guidelines (my fanfic is mixing real life tech with ME sci-fi stuff) - it can work miracles.
