Well first time I left work today and it was dark out.  Clearly a sign of the end times.  Oh woe, oh woe, oh woe again.

Woken up quite early this morning because the dog (we have a shih-tzu) managed to get his rear paw stuck in his ear and needed to have it extracted :/

(Shih-tzu ears are basically long strands of hair, and when the hair gets matted together his claws can get stuck up there while scratching)

Yeah. Trouble is, he's pretty sensitive about being touched (he used to bite people who tried to even pet him, though thankfully he outgrew that). So it took two people to help: one to hold his head so he wouldn't be able to snap at the other, who actually pulled his paw up and free. He's so difficult that we don't even bathe him ourselves (hence the matting), relying instead on taking him to a groomer a couple times a month. Needless to say they got a call this morning.
