It was a very good movie but on the first watch through I was pretty dissapointed actually. I blame that for the hype. Something i learned don't get too hyped and thn ruin the movie. Watching it subsequently I came to really like it. AND of course it might have hurt the movie that I had to pee like through half of it...that ball torture man.
I'm gonna be high on schadenfreude if the Force Awakens ends up sucking fat Mileychicken.
I should also put this little disclaimer in: the Donk is in arsehole mode. Normally she would stay away, but I see too many opportunities on the BSN to have fun with it.

*looks up word...shrugs.* Its happened before. It'll happen again. I'll probably at least enjoy the movie.
I mean given JJs track record I'll be surprised if its not in the Tier 3 at the very least.

BSN is always like this though, half the posters are just asking for the current moody person to show up with some remarks lol.

Bear in mind, he was responsible for Lost. That means that craptastic ending was on him. He's also responsible for new Star Trek, which, while having some outstanding moments and a few great actors in roles, still isn't Trek. It's a fun space movie, but insulting to call it Trek.
And out. See y'all tomorrow. ![]()

I have no faith in it. Disney. At best I will wait for it to be released on blu ray and rent it or something.

Well there has never been a single JJ production I put above Tier 2. I guess that is one of the things which could hold back my expectations for the new Star Wars movie. And not seeing Lost...and ask him about Lost sometimes...I mean a TV show involves many many aspects and people working together apparently, according to something I read/ him he really was not involved that much in Lost by the time Lost finished sooooo.

I have tremendous faith in Disney. And more faith in the team they have hired both production side and 'acting' side. Lawrence Kasdan who is responsibile for writing two Star Wars Movies and my second favorite movie of all time. JJ Abrams one of my two favorite directors. The cast seems honestly stellar from top to bottom. I mean there are a few things that are worrying me but a movie does not have to be perfect to be awesome.
As an aside at least to me Kazdan was on the writing team for 2 of my 3 favorite of the SWs movies.

"Anakin Chancellor Palpetine is evil"
"From my point of view the Jedi are evil."
Me: "Shut up, you both suck!"
You know it is amazing how much the Jedi/ Sith conflict reminds me of the Vorlons/ Shadows.
Also Ewan McGregor should win all the awards.

I've been completely put off the movie by all the hype and obsession. If I ever do watch it, my opinion of it will be incredibly biased.

I dont know who any of these people are. My knowledge of movies goes as far as the title unless directors, actors etc are really well known.
I only watch movies if I'm bored shitless. Plus I'm too fidgety. I find it hard to sit through 2 - 3 hours of a movie. You can imagine how difficult it was to get through the Lord of the Rings.

The MEA forums are having the same effect on me. Not so much the "hype" factor because what those nutjobs are actually discussing has nothing to do with the game most of the time.
