So the Victoria's Secret fashion show is on. Which leads me to wonder: are they as big in other countries as they are here? The PINK line alone seems darn near ubiquitous.

Well she's in the fourth game, but the driving plot of the game deals with the fact that AI are not designed to last indefinitely and she is beginning to corrupt (she is, after all, software). I have not played 5 but I don't think I would want a Halo without her in it, so hopefully she factors in somehow. But I've not really looked into anything about it since I don't have an Xbox One yet.

I don't really know anything about Halo or Cortana, beyond having it as disabled as I can in Windows 10 (even then, a bloody service won't disable) but I do know she's the subject of what I personally consider Malukah's most moving song.  Damned song had me misty eyed and I never even played the game.

Well not to get too geeky, but generally speaking I think the desire to see a romance unfold tends to be player projecting their own attraction to Cortana's modeling than anything that would make sense with the characters. Cortana is a digital imprint of Dr. Halsey, the creator of the Spartan-II project. And considering what was done to recruits to turn them into Spartans, that essentially makes her a clone of his mother. John (Master Chief) has spent his life quite alone, often literally, with the sole exception of Cortana, which makes the intimacy between the two of them rather unique -- an extreme, if platonic love (drink up, DQ!).

Well as I said I've only played 1 and 2, and 3 years ago which doesn't count cause my memory is pretty bad. I'm only asking about it because I read it somewhere. I don't know a lot about the Halo lore and what not.

It's pretty sweet. I always thought Halo was just some multiplayer orientated game (which it is but) it has an interesting storyline.

It's the first game I ever actually wanted to keep reading about in novels (I read the first three). Only other game I've read novelization of was Gears of War, and that's because the book I read was written by the woman who also authored the third (and strongest, narratively-speaking) game. Bungie went crazy with the lore. And then in the remasters (and MCC) went even crazier by including terminals with even more lore nested within. They even ran an alternate reality game back around Halo 2's release, which might be interesting to read about some time. It was called "I Love Bees."

*blinks*  It's MP?  I actually bought the only PC version (Halo:  Combat Evolved) with plans to get into it, but I didn't realize it is MP.
