I'm level 20 and haven't gone to Diamond City yet. I've picked up the most awesome (well, I didn't pick it up, I killed something legendary for it) 10mm which is brilliant for picking off ghouls when they rush me (better VAT percentage and less AP use). Other than that, I've put the most perks into levelling up my sniper rifle (Dave) and making sure I can make the settlers happy and protected.


You have to make a choice? Wait, don't tell me. And I'm locked in with Preston and getting a bit worried where the hints are leading .... *puts fingers in ears* La la la la ......

I'm level forty-ish now, and I'm roaming around alternating between Nick and Piper.

I used to have Curie as a companion, but a few days ago she bugged out and disappeared, never to be seen again - needles to say also caring a multitude of precious items. I'd dismissed her and sent to a different settlement because she suddenly stopped moving, but she never got there it seems.

It's gotten a little frustrating, but I suppose at least it makes me play less...

P.S.: I'm using a heavily modded .50 hunting rifle called Abra Kelevra (hey) with the "Two Shot" perk, and a sawed-off shotgun as a sidearm - sadly didn't manage to find a legendary double barrel in all my time yet.

I'be found a few legendary shotguns. One, I've found twice on two different characters. It does more damage based on how many withdrawal affects you have. Best start misusing those chems!
