It's like how I can't recognize Cullen since they swapped his generic resident-rapist-at-the-bar beard with a fashion stubble of being-availible-ness.

ModernAcademic I need to observe more before I feel qualified to assign a theme song.  But Doc (threef) I think I can easily and confidently assign you yours.  In fact, I suspect you have an alter ego (much like Ron Swanson has) where you probably go to bars and sing this to lure victims lovers!

Alistair looks quite different in Inquisition, but yeah, it's still Alistair and when he speaks I get over it.  I also think they did a bang up job on keeping him in character for the war table missions.  That quip about the scribes copying his every word always cracks me up.

Drunk Alistair in DA:2 was a crack up, pity you couldn't see him in Inquisition...

 

On my "canon" PT, he is a Warden. Although... he seems so depressed. He's not the cheery guy I met in Origins. Man that archdemon seriously did a number on everyone.

And I think his whole life kinda fuckes him up. Best - I imagine - when he's king and romanced an elven warden. Genes and stuff

So yes, the only one time I didn't give Hawke to the spider was when I had a Keep-save with Loghain alive Could never play that in Origins even though I really like Loghain.

In my canon Alistair is king and I am queen.  5 minutes with Morrigan (and Alistair thinking of his warden so he can get it up) is a small price to pay.

I have to confess, my first PT was - of course - with my canon Warden where Alistair also was king... when I met him in Redcliffe I didn't recognize him, until that tiny little cutscene was over *clears throat*

Warden Alistair made me very sad too. He sounds so weary, beat up, and "Ugh, not this again...", but still trucking forward. I wanted to hug him so bad. Actually I wanted my Lady Warden to show up, give him a hug.
