Ah. Good thing I didn't jump the gun.
Well I am just one man and my opinions usually do not reflect the majority. I like DA 2 more then Origins for crying out loud. ![]()

The more of FO 4 I see the less I like.
Why? Spoiler your answer if you want to answer.
Fixed.Carnifex.
I had more people say it's not THAT good, and with my own sneaky suspicion, I don't think I would enjoy it.
This may change, and I may risk it, but for now, I'll be waiting.

The endless waves of enemies and the seemingly pointless exploation of the game. "Here's a world...go run around in it." "OK why waht am I doing." "Whatever you want" *sigh*.
Seriously this game reminds me of the worse thing about DA 2. Just wave after wave after wave of enemies hat are then pretty hard to kill by all accounts.
Nope. I didn't get sick until after I had already started my shift and I'm already at my call in limit.Well, that sucks. Can't you take a sickie?

Ouch that sucks.
Mechwarrior online arrived on steam yesterday. Decided to dust off my old account since i'm playing all the Mechwarriors now too.
For the Jade Falcons!

(Officer Sun and the Peacekeepers in general would make excellent clansmen indeed
)
You sure you didn't just describe DAI?The endless waves of enemies and the seemingly pointless exploation of the game. "Here's a world...go run around in it." "OK why waht am I doing." "Whatever you want" *sigh*.

Because he has no taste, as is evident by recent behaviour
huh? What's that supposed to mean.
The only way is to find out for yourself, seriously.
People b*tch about FO4 for many reasons. I will list a few.
1. No stats (cause EVERY, and I mean, EVERY RPG has to have stats. It also has to be turn based and determined by a piece of paper and the throw of a dice.)
2. Bethesda took away player's freedom by forcing them into a marriage, with a kid at the beginning.
3. No "evil" factions to join. (although depending on one's viewpoint, any of those factions can be considered "evil". None of them are perfect and they have plenty of faults.)
4. Romance options suck for straight men. ![]()

You sure you didn't just describe DAI?
I'm sure.
Yup, sounds like DAI.The only way is to find out for yourself, seriously.

And yet none of those things are the things I am complaining about. ![]()

I was making fun. At your expense. ![]()
I was making fun. At your expense.
I know but is that a comment about DR? ![]()
I've seen those same excuses used against DAI. Hence my joke.*Drool*
I'm sure.
Fixed.
Pffft. Everyone knows you either go Phalanx or go home.
Nope. I didn't get sick until after I had already started my shift and I'm already at my call in limit.
Well, behold the awesomeness that is approaching weekend.
You sure you didn't just describe DAI?
You think? Hmm. I may want to rethink my reaction to Al. Still, more opinions of people stand. It's kind of 50/50 on the opinions I've received in terms of good/bad. With my own suspicion, it's a no-go yet.
There IS a lot of running around in DA. They just tell you a bit more to start with, but generally, you do what you like.
Freedom seems restricted a tiny amount more, too...
Yup, sounds like DAI.
So, if the haters are to be believed, it's a post-apo variation on DAI! Yay, I'd love it!
...still nope for right now.
Yup, sounds like DAI.
Let's just say the reactions are very similar for both games. I lurked on the Bethesda forums when it came out, and I gotta say, I could have sworn I was on the BSN.
I find it's pretty normal for any new game that comes out that's a continuation of a previous game. People whinge. Whinging makes the world go round.
And yet none of those things are the things I am complaining about.
I know what you're complaining about. Open world, too overwhelming, etc. I started (but nowhere near finished due to annoying bugs) around 5 playthroughs. On my first I didn't know WTF I was doing. But eventually you get the gist of the game.
There is a main story to complete plus a shittonne of side quests.. you can join all factions I think, but eventually it comes to a point where you have to pick a side because they start warring.
I know but is that a comment about DR?
Nah, not her specifically. Star Wars. ![]()
Pffft Phalanx. Isn't that one only available in ME2 with one of those lame DLC packs? Talon or go home.Pffft. Everyone knows you either go Phalanx or go home.

Well, I'll try and answer your issues and this is my first Fallout and didn't think I'd like it but after reading what Dieb said and some of the FO posts in the group, I'm so glad I gave it a go.

I admit the guy I am watching just could be shwoing nothing of what I would be interested in...but in general I do not find 'open world' to be too overhwhelmcing, I just want a point to all the exploration other then 'explore'. Which is sad because most RPGs do not have an over reaching point to their exploration system. DA I did. Which is why DA I was awesome.
