The german word of the year is 'refugees'. With all that happened and happens to make this a word of the year... well. I never thought I would ever say something like that but... I would prefer an emoticon as word of the year. Especially when it's 'tears of joy'.

I looked into ArmA the other day when it was going cheap in a Steam sale. It looked faaaaaar too realistical a game for me to have any fun with, sadly. I'm just not quick or dexterous enough to cope with the level of skill required to play it and be anything more than a walking shooting range dummy.

 

And that was vanilla. Think of the ACE Mod, when you have like five different bandages, a tourniquet, Morphine, Epinephrine, and Atrophine. And a surgical kit.

 

I don't know half of those things. Hence me being glad for the Basic medical model they put in as an option.

My med school friend, though, he never looked at the documentation and did everything righ the first time. Real detailed, let me tell ya.

 

It's not THAT complex if you're being a rifleman in a milsim unit, though. I mean, you only have to worry about putting rounds down range, and the rifles hardly can even fire enough ammunition to overheat the barrel. Some units, you don't even get a PRR.

 

Well this year is the first time she's been old enough to help decorate it, but we haven't put ours up yet.. might need to get on that haha
