I tried reading the Masked Empire. I don't think I can do it.. I mean, there isn't even some juicy sex scenes to make the book even a little bit bearable.
Really? I don't like Patrick Weekes in DA that much tbh.. but that was decent.

It's OK.. I just think Gaider sort of... does this thing with some male characters... Where they're basically Xander from Buffy. Rhys in Asunder is like that. A snarky mage version of Alistair. The story is decent though.

See, DAI itself is almost doing that for me. I was fine enough with the books.
They at least have one thing that this game doesn't have: intrigue. And even DA2 pulled it off in many little plots.
