It's not fair...
Just lick it up!

I haven't actually had a drink for a while. I had an episode earlier this year due to that and doing.. other stuff.
I still like a good beer during a hot day.. but I guess summer's over. ![]()
God damn is there anything Tom Brady can't do?

It's just started here.
This conversation is making me want to buy a six pack of Captain Morgan and cola.

He can definitely do more than the Cowboys. ![]()

Hey you guys were starting Matt Cassel today and Houston had Brian Hoyer in.
Annnnddd in the news of the better sport *reads* Not bad. ![]()

Meh.
i walked away after that interception in the endzone.
Okay, so while I absolutely despise the first third of Episode 6 for being shudder-inducing, horrifyingly disgusting, the rest of the Star Wars franchise isn't bad; I really like the ewok's attack strategies.
And while I know Roy will skewer me for saying this; My favourite episodes ranking goes: Episode 2, Episode 3, Episode 5, Episode 4, Episode 1, and Episode 6. My findings conclude that I remain a Trekkie at heart.
But then the rest of Episode 6 wasn't bad then? ![]()
What was it about the first third you did not like?
Mindnumbingly boring for the rest of it, the ewoks are the only good part. But then the rest of Episode 6 wasn't bad then?

Did you miss all the slime and the giant tumescent slug? Practically everything on Tatooine made me gag!
B-but...how could you not get chills in the final duel between Vader and Luke? ![]()
I guess after you watch something for 50 plus times you get desensised...and he's a Hutt. He is supposed to be nasty.
Anyways: I guess I should be careful what I wish for I was kinda hoping you'd like the Prequels more. ![]()
I had a Jabba toy when I was a kid.. he had a wagging tail. And the Ewok village too..
I liked it as a kid, but it was apparently disliked for that.. for being more childish. I didn't know better at the time.
meh. I'm more into the path of darkness that Vader starts on than anything about him actually being Vader. Also I was pretty checked out by that time honestly.B-but...how could you not get chills in the final duel between Vader and Luke?

Yeah, but I have no interest in physical humour. Slime is just plain gross, not amusing. Give me any robot or clone sci-fi over a space odessy any day.
Its not humurous I did not find it funny.
Okay then what did you enjoy about it? Because from my point of view, I didn't get any enjoyment from at least a full 45 minutes of the film.Bah!

Funnily.. I rewatched it not long ago.. with the commentary. And Mark Hammil said something about that. He was aggravated by the script and getting all "serious actor" with Lucas. "What's my motivation?! Why is this guy over here? Etc. Etc"
And Lucas pulled him aside and said.. "Mark. I made this for kids."
And Hammil changed his stance after that.

best time of the year, even if I never get snow or cold.. haha

I'm not sure enjoy is the right word, at least in terms of the body horror stuff, but it did do a good job establishing the world and the characters involved and it made it really, really, satisfying when Leia choked Jabba all to heck. But in terms of the rest of it? It showed a lot of Luke's character development. Showed the developing force powers. It showed some good moments between Leia and Han. The scene (and the score!!) where Luke turns the tables on Jabba and ignites his green light saber for the first time. At least in the first 45 minutes.
And then talking to Yoda and Luke.
Anyways. I mean I think I have said this a few times but my rescent rewatch is now done too, just finished Jedi last night.
Episode 6-ROTJ-Tier 1
Episode 3-Revenge of the Sith-Tier 2
Episode 5-Empire Strikes Back-Tier 2
Episode 4-A New Hope-Tier 3
Episode 1-A Phantom Menace-Tier 3
Episode 2-Attack of the Clones-Tier 3.
I just finished watching episode 3. Well finished it just before heading off to grocery shopping which is done now hahaha

Its funny how some of the best kids francises in history has wound up being serious adult fiction. Potter, Who, Star Wars. I mean audiences grow up...I think this is part of the problem and disconnect between the preqels and OT when people look at them with nostaligia in mind they are all like 'oh man this is so awesome and deep!' and then the Prequels are like 'wtf this is for kids!' when it was always meant to be kids. Granted there is some depth and nuance in both works, but still, part of the simplistic structure of good and evil too probably.
It's funny that I'm so less picky about Star Wars than I am this... Dragon Age.
I didn't hate episode 3 either.. Even with the "NOOOOOOO!" What else is he gonna say? ![]()

Heard an interesting theory about that...
