Pffft excited? Hell no. I'm sick of hearing about it. Any time the subject is brought up, I take a drink.

Sorry Roy, I knew people were curious about my experience. Didn't mean to give you alcohol poisoning.

No, it means I can drink at my seat and not be annoyed by crying babies and toddlers who can't sit still for a few hours.

It's just a theatre where you get carded at the door, and they have waiters who bring food and drinks to your seat!

Ooooh I loved doing that the one time I did that.  Saw Cars that way.

Best date night theatre. They have paired seats that can be converted into love seats!

Remember the good old days when we took a shot every time someone mentioned "Witcher", "MMO", and "Fetch Quest"?

Not you, Dazzle. It just feels like one of those things being shoved down my throat (DRINK) everywhere I go.

I can understand that; I'm looking forward to the hype dying down too.

I really should be more sensitive given I also went through this with Walking Dead.

I never wanted to be one of those people honestly. But here I am.

I was a good little boy who loved ME2 and DA2 even. :(

Actually people are still complaining about DA Is fetch quests, being too MMO, and its healing mechanics or their mysterious 'lack' of them.  given, you know, DAI has more ways to heal your characters then the previous two games combined

Just shows though how open we are, we have many people in this thread who dislike DA I and many who love it...yet we all get along.

I hate that I hate it. So some part of me tolerates other fans.

But it's an itch I can't stop scratching..

I know the feeling but A. your 'hate' is perfectly justifiable and not any of the knee jerk reactions you see from a lot of people.  And B. you were right.    The signs you picked up on in the franchise are the direction they are taking the story.

Pardon me I have to go wash myself clean from having interacted with you.

Just kidding. Somewhat. :P

In all seriousness, I don't have issues with people who dislike DAI or whatever. Sometimes things just don't click. I'm sure TW3 is an amazing game but we just don't have any chemistry. DAI is different enough from its predecessors that it's normal to dislike it in comparison.

What I dislike is when people refuse to judge the game on its merits, basing their total opinion only on what's missing even when it doesn't make sense or is actually obsolete. It's so biased. What's worse is when they use hyperbole to justify things. It drives me nuts.

I don't remember you on the forums though, so you probably weren't one of the annoying ones.

I've played it a bit on a friend's PC. I might buy it some day when it's cheaper.

It isn't just something that didn't click to me though. I'm bummed... if it was any more serious, I might say heartbroken. lol j/k

I mean, I own the CE. I tried to even delude myself into liking it, if only because of emotional/monetary investment.

Eh sorry you felt that way. The biggest change was the exploration aspect. I assume that's what you didn't like the most?
