I fangirled over Danse in FO4 since the moment I met him.

 

I was like... FINALLY. A HOT KNIGHT IN (literal) SHINING ARMOR WHO IS MY TYPE.

 

Then I played his side quest.

It's a good thing BioWare redeemed themselves with Kaidan. In retrospect I'm actually glad it worked out that way. Was more romantic.

Never liked it, was forced to watch it at least a million times (at least it felt like that), was so bored that I always completely forget sbout the story and now... it jumps at me. Everywhere. Every shop I enter, every TV station I watch... ugh. Ugh. Ugh.

I think we can still talk about it but everything in moderation.  ( I am trying I swear).  Honestly I really hope to purge myself of hype for this movie by the time it comes out so I can judge it fairly and just be excited about it or not based on its own sake...but every time I see a damned trailer I go...Woot.

I chuckled at the word "kidlet." Can this please replace "child" in common usage?

 

Just shows though how open we are, we have many people in this thread who dislike DA I and many who love it...yet we all get along.

I only really consider myself active in two fandoms at this point.  Who and BioWare.  I mean I am a huge fan of many different things but I don' participate on forums or on FB like I do for those two fandoms so much.  There may be a third but I can't remember it *shrugs*....oh **** yeah Stargate!

Ironic though, it had to happen eventually because the new time line is kind of following the prime time line but it looks like yet another movie where the Enterprise posively gets its ass handed to it.  What does that make 3 of the last four?

Funny I just made this comment, well sort of, on FB.  He is a decent enough actor but he is just not Scotty.

I don't think I've ever actually hated a game. Maybe I just do good enough research ahead of time that I've avoided ever buying one I would end up disliking so strongly? I don't know.

 

Closest I've come was Assassins' Creed III, but even then I was disappointed and turned off to subsequent entries in the series. I didn't actively resent the game itself, and eventually I even willed myself to finish it. Underwhelmed. Annoyed. But not passionately against. And that was a game coming on the heels of four prior games I'd loved (AC, AC2, ACB, ACR) so it's the only franchise I've ever felt betrayed me.
