I think all the trailers of any Star Trek movie looked bad. But I still enjoyed the movies a lot. Yet.

I only liked the one with Ben C because of.. eh, Ben C. And I suppose Simon Pegg is a bonus for them at least. Also Zachary Quinto is hot most of the time but not as Spock so grrr! Okay I definitely have nothing to say about these movies when the only stuff that comes to my mind is finding actor xy pretty or whatever, lol.

*back to more drinking*

I don't think I've ever actually hated a game. Maybe I just do good enough research ahead of time that I've avoided ever buying one I would end up disliking so strongly? I don't know.

Closest I've come was Assassins' Creed III, but even then I was disappointed and turned off to subsequent entries in the series. I didn't actively resent the game itself, and eventually I even willed myself to finish it. Underwhelmed. Annoyed. But not passionately against. And that was a game coming on the heels of four prior games I'd loved (AC, AC2, ACB, ACR) so it's the only franchise I've ever felt betrayed me.

I HATE Star Wars the Force Unleashed.  Awful, Awful, game....you know I just realized until recently that might've been my last experience in the SWs universe.

Unearths this gem...*sighs*

(I tried quickly sift through the unread pages, if this has been brought before I can hide it before screwing anyone's ToPs)

I haven't been that much in  my beloved DQ thread because I've been following the latest news from Venezuelan's Politics. It is like a fascinating mix of Game of Thrones and M.A.S.H.

Me too (loved them that is). I thought the cast was inspired on the latest ones (apart from Simon Pegg). I didn't hate him, he just wasn't Scotty for me.

Simon Pegg... *fangirls*
I'm twisted. Yes, he's not the old Scotty. But I love the actor and I love the role. I only wondered a bit in the first part why he had an Ewok.

And OOL. Still want to be able to top up likes.

Bones.

I don't recall, sadly. It's all just a blur of Chris Pine now...

I feel the same for Chris Pine.  Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto has brought something new to their roles which is really fresh.  Karl Urban plays Bones like Defoest Kelly almost to a T.  Ditto with Anton Yelchin, though maybe a little comic relief....Ben Cross, not sure about his Sulu yet but INto Darkness was passable...and much improves.  Pegg over acts and really takes up Scotty's humor to an over the top degree.  And Uhurha is just weird.

He's the guy in the blue that went "Well at least I won't die alone."  *beam up noise* "Well that's just typical."

Yes, I didn't get that thing at all, and every time he shouted at it to 'get down' I cringed.  I love Simon Pegg, and I loved Shaun of the Dead - and it's not because he doesn't look like Scotty I just expect Scotty to be a bit more dour.

Still the people who casted the movie did a very good job over all, all amazing actors.  Even Zoe whats-her face and Simon Pegg, I just think they don't do a good job in their roles neccessarily.  Not perfect.  Ugh *drinks*.

I'm not a Trekkie by any stretch of the imagination but seeing "from the director of Fast and the Furious" in a Star Trek trailer strikes me as wrong.

That's pretty much how I feel about it.  I tend not to over-analyse films.  If I'm going to sit and watch something I want to be entertained that's all but those guys were spot on imo.

You know that awkard moment when you realise you are probably 'crushing' on Karl Urban more then the female lead in a movie.    Though if Alive Eve is back that could be awesome.
