I'm waiting for my sister to wake up. She and I were going to go try to set up her soccer rebounder net this morning. Because it is New York in mid December and still somehow 60 degrees F.

Hey, I get criticized for calling it "football" because it comes off as me trying to sound all high and mighty ![]()
Plus: when an American mentions football, there's ambiguity as to what is actually being discussed. When anyone says soccer, everyone knows exactly what is being discussed.

Alright, that last bit a fair point.
But don't call it that around me! Or I'll start throwing red cards at you while calling you Schiri and shouting about knowing where you parked your car.... Hehh. ![]()
And I admittedly don't know a single thing about American.. football so no reason for me to ever chime in when that topic is around. ![]()

Its boring and dull. Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers are the two best Quarterbacks in the league.

I really loved to come here, have fun, talk sh*t with people who are different than me, but equally crazy. I enjoyed that a lot.
Lately it feels like I have to second guess everything I wrote, because I might step on someone's toes. And that I did not have to do that in the past was my main reason for hanging out here. Saying something was gross happened in the past too but I can't remember it was such a thing as it is now. And it f*cks me off.
Now most people I used to have a lot of contact with, are either gone or don't post that much anymore here.
I spend more time here ignoring posts than actually read what people write. That's no fun anymore.
So my highly dramatic self takes her pirate hat and leaves this tavern. Taking all the grog with me and leaving the beloved vending machine to Dienne

I'm still thinking about toning down what we write and use as gifs.
