Donk posted a gif the other day that just was a bit too much for a few people and was asked to hide or change it, rather politely actually, but she flipped out about that. I was just hoping she was having a bad day as it wasn't really a big deal and all over and in the past now and definitely not something to get worked up over.

 

I admit I've flipped out enough personally too though, but I'm getting better at not being thin-skinned thanks to you guys in DQ, lol.

But meh I am actually a bit guilty I think I over reacted.  Not at asking her to change it mind you but I think I did come on a tad strongly in the 'demand' and not 'request'.  Honestly it left me feeling a little shocked at the time because usually when one of us does step out of bounds and is corrected by another we are quite willing to adjust.  Donk especially.  And I really did not want to report her because she is my very good friend and remains so.  There is no hard feelings here of any sort.  Just I was shocked as hell.  lol.

I'm still thinking about toning down what we write and use as gifs.
I really loved to come here, have fun, talk sh*t with people who are different than me, but equally crazy. I enjoyed that a lot.
Lately it feels like I have to second guess everything I wrote, because I might step on someone's toes. And that I did not have to do that in the past was my main reason for hanging out here. Saying something was gross happened in the past too but I can't remember it was such a thing as it is now. And it f*cks me off.

Now most people I used to have a lot of contact with, are either gone or don't post that much anymore here.
I spend more time here ignoring posts than actually read what people write. That's no fun anymore.

So my highly dramatic self takes her pirate hat and leaves this tavern. Taking all the grog with me and leaving the beloved vending machine to Dienne

I admit this place did die down after all dai content was released, as is usual. Same as some older regulars disappearing and the ones that are left, half of us prattle on about random crap.

grog originally referred to spirits (originally rum) mixed with water. But now it's a general use word for any and all alcohol.
