What if I told you I Maeve left Hawke in the fade?

I just think it's funny to leave Hawke because people seem to be attached to them. Why, I have no idea.

I was bullshitting. I've only ever killed Hawke for roleplay reasons. In fact, only one of my Inquisitors did that.

 

  Always Hawke.  Well, almost always.  I did leave Alistair once, but I felt terrible about it.   Unlike you, however, I consider it one of my greatest RP failings that I always do so.  I, the player, just cannot bring myself to leave the Wardens behind because, well... shoot, they're Wardens.  *fangirls insanely over Wardens*

 

You'd think that would mean that I would be one of those that are desperate for the return of the Warden Commander, but that's not the case.

Ahem. Sorry for the rant then. That's the perfect reason to do it.

 

I haven't done it yet.. and I'd probably have to be detached from a Hawke to roleplay it. Like maybe I'd kill the trailer Hawke... like an aggressive blood mage. And I'd kill a Qunari supporting Hawke.

It was my canon Hawke I killed. Nice guy, sarcastic rogue, in a relationship with Isabela, left to die by my canon Inquisitor. Varric's reaction was the only reason I ever regretted it.

See, I generally dislike the Wardens. I never liked them even when I first played.

 

But I also generally do the ultimate sacrifice or have Loghain. I've never carried a playthrough with Warden Alistair. I don't think he deserves to die either. He's always annoyed me, but he's a nice guy...and doesn't have a great life either.

I don't know if I have a main Hawke. I'm torn between Diplo FemMage and Sarcastic FemRogue. They're both cool in their own way. My Mage might as well be the freaking Divine. She's a good person.

I played all my Hawkes the same way. So really all of them are my main Hawke, just with a different looking face.

the only difference with my Hawkes were if they sided with templars or mages.. and looks. they were all female though.

 

And I left stroud in the fade most times, Loghain twice, never ever had the heart to leave Alistair there...

Tbh, if (if) I had a Warden Alistair, I'd probably kill him. But I like him as King. My main problem with him is his fanboy-ism of Duncan and the Wardens. He barely knows Duncan and already calls him a father. He writes off Daveth, yet Duncan was exactly the same as Daveth once. Then generally is wishy washy with anything questionable about the Wardens. Like being dismissive about the Joining and it's consequences. But a Warden Alistair in DAI seems like the kind who'd finally see a lot of their faults and might want to redeem their better side.
